phs.6089
At the moment they only have Vanila +PoF, while every single map of LW3 has full Core+HoT stats. I don't understand you desire to make LW4 maps dead. Why Difluorite trinkets don't have, magi, assassin etc? What is the reason beyond this? Rico.6873
I'm not really bothered by that, what does bother me is that only one living world map gives ascended accesories, wel thunder head gives diviner accesories yes, but in lw hot you can choose a stat.. Tzarakiel.7490
Unfortunately the core stats that were not added to the standard selection before HoT are considered HoT stats. So in a confusing kind of way all core stats as considered by the game are available on season 4 trinkets.
Hannelore.8153
Because they want you to buy both expansions. HoT offers easy to get trinkets, which don't take alot of effort to farm, and you can select all core stats, and some new ones that are mostly either support or defense oriented, which was to allow fleshing out of the HoT subclasses like Druid and Reaper. PoF offers trinkets that are more difficult to get, but more powerful DPS stat combinations (Griver's, Harrier's, Diviner's, etc.). This wasn't meant to provide a lot of interesting combinations for players to use, but rather to reverse a trend that started with HoT of healing and defense being excessive, by semi-returning to the "zerker" era, just not completely so that the game doesn't lose diversity. Unfortunately we've gone full circle and how damage is excessive again.. You'll get the best experience if you own both expos and combine similar stats together, which is the whole reason that PvE and WvW don't use an amulet system and what makes them so much more interesting in comparison. You have no idea what they did so people would buy HoT as owner or alt acc with PoF only, I can tell you, PoF is a candy in very nice wrapper but when you unwrap it, half of candy is bitten. lol Dig a big deeper then nice maps and good story, any aspect of the game from legendaries to a kitten guild buffs. phs.6089
Necroing my own post, to say thank you. Thank you for updating and not only those but any selectable trinkets from any season and any map to have all the stats available in game. This is huge especially for new players given they have both expacs. Trinkets are now easier then ever. Sanswept and DF have HoT stats and LW3 trinkets have PoF stats to chose from. This will save lots of time for the getting new set. Thank you again Arena.
