mukage.5970 Posted May 26, 2018 Share Posted May 26, 2018 this is a sideways complaint. the issue with the game isn't the level 80 booster it is your friend's lack of interest in the game. the game offers a metric butt ton of content to new players and if he wanted to just hit 80 and skip all of that then that should be attributed to him, not the game. Arioch.4810 Posted May 27, 2018 Share Posted May 27, 2018 OP has good intentions and his idea is legit ( Wanting to retain new players, great idea imo! ) . I would merely implement it with a twist: Boost remain as it is, but add the option/gizmo for a boosted character to revert to "natural" level before boost. Also, add some incentive to it - if you revert and complete to 80, you get one trinket for instance. Player that boost character and "hit it off" in endgame content would not bother, but a player struggling to go thry HoT/PoF might well go to it as a change of pace, became better player by understanding the game's mechanic, and stick with us all in the long run :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
