Windowed fullscreen

My main monitor is 4K. I want to play GW2 with windowed fullscreen mode but it locks on 4K resolution. My GPU isn’t good enough to run 4K resolution. Is there any method to play GW2 with windowed fullscreen mode under 2k or even 1080p?

not sure if there is a way in the game but you can try by lowering the resolution of your monitor itself and the game should adjust to that size when in windowed fullscreen.

Windowed fullscreen means running the game in your desktop resolution, on top of all other windows. If you want to run windowed fullscreen at a lower resolution, you will have to lower your windows desktop resolution first. There is no other way.

 

Or just play normal fullscreen at the desired, lower resolution.
