[Question] Clarification on trait effects for SB

Hello together,

 

I have a maybe simple, maybe more difficult question and I hope, someone can help or knows, if it's an intended feature or a bug.

When i testes the SB spec i mentioned the following:

 

When I merge with my pet, I gained some more stat points: +80 to all main stats as well as +150 ferocity.

 

So, I know, that [Pack Alpha](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pack_Alpha "https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pack_Alpha") and [Pets Prowess](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pet%27s_Prowess "https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pet%27s_Prowess") give this bonis to stats, when you have the Beastmastery trainline active. But also without using this traitline, I gained the bonus stats.

 

The question: Is this intended?
