I never ever imagine I was going to play HoT maps again, until mounts appeared!

2 years ago I purchased the HoT expansion and within weeks I sworn to myself to never go to the HoT maps ever again, but then mounts came, and the griffon came and now you have me here exploring the maguma jungle for the first time since I purchased the expansion about 2 years ago! Well done anet, well done! You should have introduce mounts from the beginning, maguma maps are meant to be explored with mounts.

 

Anyway, that being said, the maps are not 100% enjoyable due to their confusing nature, but with mounts the maps become bearable and sometimes even 80% enjoyable in my personal opinion.

It does make those maps better.

 

However I spent several minutes yesterday riding around an area looking for a ramp up that showed on the mini map, so still confusing.

Yeah, but at least now you can explore the maps 20+ times faster with mounts. Before mounts I used to go in circles trying to find a vista or a PoI, but now that is much much faster and less stressful. But yeah, they are still a little bit confusing.
