Crash Issues/Even Installer is crashing : (

So I've been dealing with crashes for the past week or so (just after Dragon Bash update.) I've been constantly going in circles trying to figure out whats going on because everyone else that I've talked to hasn't had any issues at all. Initially I just tried reinstalling my video card drivers, but at this point I've reformatted, tried several different driver versions for my audio/graphics components, reseated all of my components, the works. Nothing seems to prevent the game from randomly crashing. Sometimes I can play for a few hours, sometimes the game runs for 30 seconds and then locks up. Now after reformatting, to my amazement, the installer itself crashed at about 34% download. I've only crashed about 4 times since launch. I'm honestly stumped at this point.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use any add-ons? Taco, arcdps and such. I only know about arcdps, but with arcdps you have to download he updated version after every patch or the game will crash constantly - if you DO use add ons, try removing them and see if the game runs smooth.

 

If you don't use add ons, then i'm not knowledgeable enough about this stuff to help.

Make sure nothing (Anti-virus, firewall, etc.) is interfering with the Coherent program.

Clear the GW2 cache. (Instructions found in the Knowledge Base via the 'Support' link.)

Can it be the absolute junk called Geforce Experience??? Direct uninstall of that If you are asking me... If you insist on using it, make sure GW2 is set inside not to be touched/optimized/etc...

P.S. check windows event logs - might give more hints, if the issue is in collision with 3rd party software or .Net related..

Thanks so much for the suggestions guys. After searching through all of that, checking add-ons ect. , noticed the 64-bit client for the game and decided to force run the 32-bit client - it works! For now.. I'm thinking that the 64-bit client has some memory issues with some systems as of the most recent patch (or maybe always?) and I just got unlucky. In any case if you happen upon this thread and have the same issue and you want to try force-running the 32 bit launcher just right click your GW2 shortcut and add -32 to the end of the line. "C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" -32 If I crash again I'll just make that support ticket. Thanks so much again guys.
