MysticReaper.4318
every time i transmute any armor skin to the current gear pieces, the skin inherits the gear piece colors, instead of the original skin colors. besides re-dying the colors, is there any way of preventing this from happening? Inculpatus cedo.9234
"Although newly acquired items will automatically be dyed with the dyes set for a currently equipped item, once applied, dyes will be saved in the item." -Wiki You can use the 'eraser', I believe, to show the default dyes. Donari.5237
Cedo is correct, the Eraser tool will remove any client-applied dyes on armor, outfits, and mounts. One thing I'm not sure on is whether it returns to default game-provided armor colors, or looks at what you chose in character creation and tries to do those. Are the creation dyes even relevant any more? Originally they were supposed to default apply to any armor you equipped, but I'm not sure if that ever worked or is still a coded effect at this point. I'm pretty sure it's gear-default dyes, not character-creation dyes. (Some default to dyes that one does not have unlocked.)
