What are people doing in PoF?

I am still not done with some of the achievements (mainly the bounties). Also, a daily visit of the dwarven ruins' gold bowl gamble is a must-do on my checklist. :)

I simply love the maps, so I hope they will add more content eventually. Playing through the story gets a bit tedious after a while, mainly because of uncovering the maps is pretty annoying after the third playthrough with all the mobs.

Just took the guild through one and a half mini dungeons in the new zones earlier this week. What a blast!

For my own, I still have story achievements, Casino coins to collect, map achievements to complete, mini-dungeons to re-explore for future guild events, farming for Warbeast recipes...

And now we're going to be distracted by Mad King Thorn.

Great!

I've been through the story on a mount with no name. It felt good but some parts were a strain. Completed PoF mapping on my hohosmith. Got the Cutting Edge, an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. Unlocked firebrand. Pondering what to unlock next. It's looking like spellbreaker. Maybe. Actually scored some HoT achievements going back for some of the less strenuous to acquire hero points, and managing to be (or not to be) in the right places at the right times. Have ridden a few champ trains -- choo choo! -- in Crystal Oasis and the Desolation. Also, other stuff. All in all, fun is mostly being had. Mostly.

Sold them green raptors at launch made tons of gold. Cleared all maps first 3 days. Farmed the dwarf area for recipes made some easy gold. Sat around in guild hall for 35hours building stuff. Rolled onto all of my toons to test out Pof elites. Found out alot of them are just pvp specs. :( Chipping away at chieves, but alot of them seem pointless. Ugly human minis from griffon gifts really? Why not Tengu minis :D hehe. dumped 250g on griffon, wasn't expecting that :( my goooooooooooooold! i'll miss you. Bought all the minis i wanted with trade contracts. Farmed a bit more contracts and bought sunspear weapon recipes. Found out killing legendaries awarded currency to buy funerary gear n weapons. Found a merchant that wanders around you can buy “secret” items from. Not that secret cause cheeves make you find her. After all that finally went and did horrible poop story. h8 story, needs a FFWD button. quit talking and let me do the combat stuff!

Nothing at the moment. Went back to HoT, silverwastes and cursed shore to do events, make gold and run around with other players since the new maps are lacking in that regard.

Would love to revisit the new maps if there's some drastic improvements to the rewards. They look great in design but after the initial exploration is completed and you've done the achievements, there really isn't much to keep players invested. Shame, because you can tell the designers put a lot of effort and probably worked long hours to bring us this.

Hmm, I am still doing exploring and achievements. I haven't done the griffon stuff at all. I have finished achieves in Crystal Oasis, am missing 2 in Desert Highland, and have a lot in Elon Riverlands. I have basically done none in the other two maps, though I have most of Desolation mapped. Once I am done with those I plan to move on to finishing story achieves, since I am missing a few there and then go on to griffon stuff.

Playing Stellaris and Saints Row 3 again.

I'm not really a grinder. The most I play of GW2 is the yearly Halloween event. That's really why I came back to GW2. It just happened this coincided with the PoF release.

I like immersion, a good story, a big world with interesting and worthwhile things to explore, with interesting and worthwhile ways of interacting with the map and making the map yours, controlling a large army and lots of territory, building up a strong economy by min/maxing my cities/towns/villages/planets/whatever. You know, all the things that aren't in Guild Wars 2.
