Change in dark matter drop rate?

My daughter has tried seven times tonight to salvage exotic 68+ gear, but received no dark matter. She used BL salvage kits for all seven salvages, but received none. At ~1 per salvage, she should have received several.

 

Has the drop rate changed recently?

 

I cant' compare mine to hers because I don't track it. So, I'm coming here to see if anybody else has noticed a change.

I have a stack of them from a few weeks ago.. Things seemed normal then, not sure if it's changed. I'm still getting some today.

Yeah, I haven't watched mine, because they've never been a serious problem. But, 0 in 8 tries is less than 1 in 200 odds.

I got 3 in a exotic yesterday. I normally go for a higher level if i need to buy exotics say lvl 78 +

I dare say it would be nice to get at least one per savage, but obviously exotics drop like rain drops :/

This is pretty important - you can get more than one from a salvage, and *that* is not a super rare occurence.

 

That fact means the frequency of getting *no* DM from a salvage is much higher than most of us would initally think when seeing the overall average. [insert note about human brain being *really* bad at understanding statistics]
