Knighthonor.4061
Can the Guaranteed Weapon Unlock in theory unlock Legendary Skins or is that off limits for this item? If so, its not quite clear on the restrictions.
Danikat.8537
No. You can see which skins it can unlock by previewing it, although skins you already have unlocked will be hidden from the list. (Same for the Armour and Wardrobe Unlocks.) It includes gem store weapon skins and a selection of in-game ones, but not all of them. Mostly it's the 'themed' sets like pirate, Orrian, Ebon Vanguard, steam etc. weapons. Things like ~~named exotics~~ (turns out these are included), legendaries (and precursors) and elite spec weapons are not included. Edit: You can also preview it before getting one, via a slightly round-about method. Find a black lion chest, or search for it on the TP, right click the chest and select 'Preview' then find the Guarenteed Weapon Unlock in the list and right-click > preview that. Just a flesh wound.3589
They don’t unlock all possible options. If you preview a Guaranteed Weapons Unlock it shows you what is available. Legendary weapons are not on the list. rng.1024
It can't. The only types of skins it can unlock are: - Cultural weapons - Black Lion chest skins - Fiery Blade Axe skin Legendaries are anyways not eligible for guaranteed drops, as they only go as high as exotics. This unlock however only deals with skins you can buy for either tickets or gems. Thundabolt.8541
A friend of mine unlocked spirit links with it the other day. Might want to put that in the wiki.
Game of Bones.8975
There's about 1 chance in Never. You'll have a easier time dividing by 0. _Battlefield Earth_ had an easier time winning an Oscar. But don't let that get you down.

Knife Tail Gang Hunting Bond happen to have more detailed description that its exclusive to Black Lion skins and items.
Danikat.8537
I suspect they were more concerned with having an accurate description for the Knife Tail Bond because players buy those directly, and because there's no way to preview the contents before buying it. So there's more danger that someone would buy it specifically to get an item which isn't in the drop table and end up angry that they wasted their money. (Not that there's any guarentee of getting a specific item even if it is in the drop table, but I suspect there's still an important different for many people between buying a chance at something and not getting it and buying an item which never had any chance of giving you what you wanted.)
