High latency recently

Same here, since Saturday 21:00 very bad connection to the server suddently form germany to the frankfurt servers.

The state is currently unplplayeable, moving a Item in the inventory thaks 10 sek +, and so on....

tl;dr- Amazon and a few other high profile businesses have been getting DDOS bombed. If that indeed is the source of the problem Anet can't do jack about it.

That can not be the problem as i am on a fixed Telekom cable and have instant access to all services provided by them, even Amazon without delay, i can all play a mulitude of games even GW1 with an aver ping of10 or less. this is an Anet problem.

The lack of responce by Anet is worrying, they seem not to be able to reply to Tickets. The automated responce that a ticket has be sent was over 90 minutes ...

They should be able to post a responce on the Forums showing that are at least looking into the problem that has affected 1000`s of players if not 10`s of 1000`s.

Saddest part about this is that still no statement is given from Anets side. Would be nice to know if someone is working or even acknowledging this problem since its going on for almost three days now.

But yay, there will be more fashion to buy in a game that a big part of the playerbase cant event start \o/

From Saturday evening, constantly from 17 PM ping in the game from 500 to 4500, and at night and during the day ping 70-120. At the same time in other games everything is normal .

Same issue here eu servers from uk. Connection to all other games and internet services fine. Trace to gw server has 90%+ packet loss at the Amazon links. Normal ping usually 30-40 current ping min 90 max over 4K average about 500

Since Friday I had a ping up to 3,000. I have NEVER had this issue before and my internet connect is awesome. What is going on with the game. This is unplayable and horrible and Im hoping Anet comes back from Vacation soon and fixes the problem. {We probably wont see Anet until after the New Year]. same lag i used mtr to guildwars.2com and IPs of servers i connect to and the same thing hapens but it goes to more than 80% up to like 90 etc. also murders facebook and some other sites but google and yt work fine this seems like the problems germans had like 7 years ago according to reddit but the gw2 forum post was deleted or unaccessible only solutions suggested were calling your ISP or VPN
