Valatha.6048
Hi, I start the game in France on the UE server, move to China and change for a NA server. For around 5-6 months in China, I could play the game without too much trouble. But now, the connection isn’t stable at all : lost connection, lag, download time extremely long, restart gw2 client, etc. I don’t use VPN. With a VPN look like is even worst (maybe I got a wrong VPN to play game). I’m on Mac. Some time frame are not so bad but still the gameplay become a supplice. Already contact gw2 support and so far, no solutions seem to make a difference. Anybody in China playing on a NA or UE servers ? What is your experience and if you encounter the same problem how do you solve it ? Thank you.
Noir.8561
1) Try to find the GW2 folder Copy the folder (46.5 giga) on a different location (like the desktop) , or different harddrive or external harddrive . In this new coppied folder try to find GW2 64bit.exe Right click that icon > push Properties > rename it to : Gw2-64 -clientport 443.exe From now on you will use this ''exe'' to play the game 2) Install ''CCcleaner'' https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner Choose the : ''Easy Clean'' option + Custom Clean (tick every box : exept Desktop Shortcuts+Custom Files And Folders +Wipe free Space) + Registry (tick all) 3) download ''Adwcleaner'' https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ Clean the pc And if it dont find anything wrong , just use ''Run Basic Repair'' and let the pc restart

Valatha.6048
Thank you for your help. Unless I mistaken, a file name « .exe » is on Windows and I'm using Mac (iMac). Ditto, « adwcleaner » is for Windows. Anyway, i found similar software for Mac. Most important, for me, now its seem to work well. Look like it was something about updating Vpn and/or something about servers changed.
