Mini blocking

I enjoy playing WvW and PVE primarily. I always run for high performance options. However, I continue to see miniatures running around despite this. I think my performance could get slightly better if I didn't have to see them at all. Is it possible to put an option on the graphics to block them?

as far as i know you can only block the sounds of the mini pets . from other players otherwise their is no way to block them other than not play the game any more . is the only way you can not see them any more.

As warriors wrote, there's the option to mute the sounds.

But i would really appreciate the possibility of remove minis forever ( not only when there are too many players ).

minis automatically get hidden based on map population, rather than dynamically based on your own system performance (I really dislike this, as I have a high end machine and get minis hidden even when my performance is fine)

Since we can block users from fully loading on the screen, I would figure they could block minis from fully loading too. Though, it would likely still require a placeholder model.

Can you still track stealthed thieves and mesmers in WvW by following their Mini ? Loved that...

 

Oh and +1 to more options! Sure wouldn't mind the option to block other players minis, especially in towns. (Make it a drop down menu with multiple options please)

sorry but I need to point that you cant mute minis at all.

 

And this is a big problem that lots of people suffer from.
