Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire - additional achievements for Mastery

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I'm wondering if you considered adding additional achievements from Visions of the Past Cragstead, North Nolan Hatchery, Canach's Lair and The Nigntmare Incarnate to the Mastery track. Let's be honest - either all "Visions of the Past" achievs count towards the mastery or none, otherwise, what's the point to have that partially count. It's quite hard to achieve mastery when you need to do all achievs and there's no "spare ones". Not all players are pro ones and in my opinion it's always good to have 5-10 spare achievements so player can choose which ones are better, faster or just more fun to do. You were able to do that with many LS3 and LS4 episodes. Even "Bound by Blood" has tons of spare achievements so player can decide what's the easiest and funny ones for them to achiev. Therefore, again, please, consider adding some additional achievements to make this more fun and less painful for the some part of GW2 community (even count all visions of the past achievs for a start).

All of those are true. But even in Dragonfall, the required achievements don't force you to do strictly co-operative instances, like it's the case in the current release with the stuff you have to do in strike missions. Even the hardest Season 2 achievements could be done solo. Try doing Whisper of Jormag as someone who only does general PvE. It's off-putting for many people and it only feels like ANet want to force people into strike missions, even if it's not their cup of tea. Yes, it's only a title and 10APs but if you could max out practically every other tab (notable exception is Migraine in HoT's final instance) under Story Journal while playing solo it's going to bug you.
