I'm still pretty salt about absolutely negating CC skill damage. That was dirty lol. Instead of 17 and 20 at least make it 500-ish.

    **_like that will ever happen_**

    Still

Tactics and builds are trade secrets. **_It's the only thing guilds can offer their players anymore LOL_**

It's already too late for about 1000 players I've known over the span of 8 years. Shrugging about it and saying **oh well, too late** is a cop out lmao.

They've said time and time again in numerous occasions something along the lines and probably this exact quote _"WvW will be seeing an overhaul"_ if i looked hard enough i could find the sauce lmao.

So in the spirit of reminding them of the unfulfilled promise...

  4. Unpopular opinions:

    * I think they should unlink servers and let them all stand alone. Stackers are going to stack. Add Low population definition, make it free to transfer. proportionally raise existing gem costs.

    * All WvW map caps should be reduced per match-up based on overall active population relative to the smallest server population, wanna stack? Sit in Queue all night.

    * Variation of a 3rd map with different mechanics, like what was given to desert bl, but even more horrifying for attackers, and give it to the smallest pop server for defense advantage.

    * Allow new WvW rank masteries for commanders and players. Commander's passively increases players in their squad. The larger the squad the weaker the buff becomes. Player's passive buffs affect NPCs. Let's face it, veteran NPCs are kinda useless unless they're stacking a 1v1 in a camp/tower. Add some other game breaking F10/downstate mechanics (like downstate 5: _"NPC, HALP!"_ lmao it can't save you, but it'd be funny to watch).

    * Really horrible idea and it's so insufferable it could actually be fun. **Make all siege lose health as it's being used** compensate by adding to _Repair Mastery_ availability to repair siege. I think an ammunition mechanic might be pretty funny in a painful way too lol.

    * Wall/gate deterioration per tick would be amusing. To counter this mechanic, introducing guild improvements to stop deterioration (or even repair) over time. Probably should be a T2(T3) improvement respectively.

The first few points kinda punished blob zergs, but _**let's make it worse lmao**_

    * NPCs should have the ability to be upgraded beyond veteran and champions, and add way more if them with upgrade tiers. Even the SMC Legendary Lord should get buffed. That Lord room fight can be dangerous with lots of damage floating around... _Why not add a little more?_

    * Add automatic siege upon tier upgrades... Like traps and auto turrets... But they're all over the place, balanced by being destroyable. Change _auto turret_ guild tactic to **_enhanced auto turrets_** (unlockable, more damage, higher durability).

    * Make the walls a bit higher. Simple and trivial, but it will impact offense a bit more.

Not saying these would 100% solve everything, but it would shake it up a lot. At this point, i would be excited to see anything make WvW more dynamic and less "**brb trolling the forums while we take down this T3 keep**"....

Anywho, at the lord now, g2g

    > First time in fifteen years they have convinced me to quit guild wars. So a solid rating of one as I can't even try to care. it started well enough but then just became a blubbery, flabby ,and bile-streaked mass of repetitive content. Same ideas just new (ish) places. Honestly I would rank it lower if it were possible.

I actually agree with this. I feel like the PvE devs found a formula that generated positive responses around the time HoT launched and just kept using the same formula ever since, but have gradually become lazier with the details, while trying to increase the overall difficulty.

There's been some potentially great ideas, but the execution is lackluster at best. I'm not excited to continue with the story anymore. Maybe, if/when they release EoD, hopefully sooner than soon™, it'll bring fresh and exciting content with unique mechanics and dynamics.

    Yooooooo

    Someone finally said it!

Let me _noon_ enemies to the most swoll track pls.

  7. No, no. No patience, no hope, no expectations, not even faith.

    Step 1: Breathing in deep

Step 2: Recall that famous quote "To our WvW community, we haven't forgotten. **_Soon.™_**"

    Step 3: Laugh af

It was the biggest joke they've ever told, that's still funny years later lol.

I'm impressed folks are still going ham on the forums.

  8. IMO, The key things I see wrong with this:

Elimination of "Concentration" attribute by reducing a ton of the boons to 1-2 seconds. Why bother running anything with that stat. For that matter, why run any healing gear?

Extending cool downs might play into strategic play, but large cool downs like them 300s ICD is disastrous. Those skills may as well get taken out or changed completely.

Increasing TTK would be better for base Vitality and Toughness to rise. Not every damage skill needs to eat 150+% coefficient nerfs for balance. However, buffing secondary effects (target count, stun, boon strip, heals, etc) for damage coefficient nerf is reasonable.

There's tons of damage going around, so I'm not completely opposed to regulation. That being said, I see condition damage still being viable and sustain taking nerfs, which still keeps TTK low when you factor in a condi bomb.

Part of that is so we can get the primary aspects of the system in and gather data about how the system works given the metrics we are using for balance. We want to compare apples to apples to give us the clearest information. This also will allow us to have a new baseline to compare against modifications to the metrics used for balancing the teams. We also are discussing some other ways to address “off hours” play, so stay tuned for more info as we can share it.

I would forgive the imbalance after thought... If they would only _actually_ add/change something positively. Give me a reason to fight my ass off, something to win for. Some competitive gameplay for a competitive game mode, ya know? I like the game well enough, but my favorite game mode is...well, Shit

    Here's to 2 more years!

    > Yeah they can see it coming, but only at 1-5 frames per second.

Honestly, the only time I've eaten low frame rates is when I was in stonemist with 2 other blob servers... I strongly believe that's the players unawareness if not the toaster's fault otherwise.

    > > What does the community want? A warrior that is good at melee but takes less damage than half the builds that exists in the game on other classes? It's a fricken warrior class. U want to lower warrior sustain there better be a huge sustain nerf swept across most classes when the warrior gets his sustain lowered.

    >

    > I think most people would simply be happy with not allowing warriors to run and out of zergs completely unscathed. **Lower their mobility**, and lower their invulnerables, or at the very least do not allow them to attack with any type of invulnerable active.

Warrior gameplay absolutely relies on being able to gap close. You don't have reliable range dmg (sure rifle/gunflame builds are a thing, but really? If you base it off a gimmick build your argument is invalid bc it can be made to all classes) so you must be able to close the gap on a kiter. Killing their invulnerables also make them susceptible to kiting, especially condies. Go run around as a warrior against a condo scourge or cele weaver or condo mirage. You'll know what R Kelly meant by "_I'm fightin' for my kitten life_"

Sure you can still win, and if the player is bad, quite easily... But again if we base the argument there too any joker build can beat bad players lol.

I'm not saying warrior is garbage, but I feel like they're not absolutely bad off. They're simple and straight forward.
