  1. current story, Gunnar's Hold for sure, which sits right between Bjora's Marches and EotN overall... every map that was in GW1 but missing in GW2
  2. yeah, i doubt it though, because lots of people having asking for it. And there are alternative ideas other players suggested, like a lore book inside the Hero's as a tab allowing it to be always accessible rather having going to a place to access the books.
  3. > @"Ayrilana.1396" said:> Without a city instance, it's unlikely those without the expansion will be able to participate. from lore perspective i think Shing Jea Monastery will be a city instance, since it's a sanctuary for students to learn.Even without a city instance I believe the tech is already in place, think of Lily of Elon, it's an open area in the world map that can only enter if if have the pass in your inventory, so a flipped version; where people without the expansion can travel there via portal, they can see what's happening outside the monastery but they can't get out without the expansion. > @"Galmac.4680" said:> Why not in both cities? (Same instances, vendors, events...)Divinity's Reach have the most festivals, Lunar New Year, Festival of 4 Winds, Wintersday, it's as if other races does not have their own culture festivals to celebrate > @"Ashantara.8731" said:> What a wonderful idea! <3 Not sure, though, there is enough time to make this change. But it definitely is something to think about for next year. :)yeah, rip  festival came out right after i made the post
  4. Optiplex 7060 is an office desktop PC, so there's a lot of proprietary connectors inside, if something breaks the parts may be hard to get or a bit expensive comparing to mass market parts and yeah like what @"Infusion.7149" said, the chassis size is gonna be an issue if you want to put a real GPU inside. Highly recommend getting a good case since it cannot break (unless you got one with tempered glass) Check out Hardware Canucks's channel, loads of reviews on PC chassis, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTzLRZUgelatKZ4nyIKcAbg for experienced builders, we would bash on pre-built gaming machines like Alienware, but for a newcomer like OP I think it a good place to start. check out Linus Tech Tip's scrapyard wars for tips on saving few bux on seconds parts when building your own PC For Advanced builders, JayzTwoCents and Gamers Nexus have more technical reviews and guides like watercooling your parts and physical customisation of hardware for extreme overclocking

  6. If you want 'Report A Player' the "hacking" selection, it's only available via https://help.guildwars2.comand a customer support will reply with something looks like a copy and pasted responsehttps://i.imgur.com/UDeo7kI.png dont see why they should not do like what they are doing in GW1, public shaming cheaters and gold sellers, like the exception what they did to J T Darksidei reckon Anet could make shit loads of side income from youtube ads by uploading all the videos of them terminating the cheatershttps://massivelyop.com/2015/05/05/arenanet-strips-kills-deletes-and-bans-guild-wars-2-cheater/it's got 1,984,871 views to date

  8. * Prologue = 8, Map metas are very player friendly, can easily duck in-out the map during metas, would be nice if the strike is more punishing * Bjora P1 = 9, strikes are fun * Bjora P2 = 7, still feel like Drakkar meta needs some tuning, strike is fun * Vision of Past = 2, good to show us what happened in between, but FS (Fake Strike) is a massive time sink, let us skip to the end Anet, there are 3 bloody choppers just sitting there doing nothing * Drizzlewood P1 = 9, meta is good, strike is good too * Drizzlewood P2 = 3, plenty of complains on the forum already about the meta, 8 months already still nothing is done about the length of it * Champion = 1 (1 for NPC dialogues to push the story forward, so the rest are 0), DRMs are a massive fail, they are just copies of FS, which players already complained how overly boring it is, and it's stupidly difficult to find any cm groups (at least in my play hour, everytime i look on lfg it's empty); btw, why the does new infusion turns players into a turd man/woman? the Deldrimor dwarves looks like mithril after the Rite of the Great Dwarf in GW1 https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Transformed_Jalis.jpg

  10. OpenGL has been around for close to 30 years, and it's open-sourced, so this is an Apple issue for not adopting open-sourced API
  11. there's seems to be two primary types of lags that player can experience1. network congestion, this is when you suddenly see very high pingprime example would be WvW big zerg fights, but can be a bit of weird one because it sometimes isn't related to the size of the zerg but the server the zerg is frommy normal ping vs ping at Teq todaycould tell the problem is on the server side accepting incoming network packages, because i can see everyone running around as per normal around me, but none of my inputs...... only when Teq dies the ping goes back to normal and i see myself mass spamming skills, which is something that a lot of oce ppl experienceit's as if the server is prioritising packages based on your region![](https://i.imgur.com/fawISqd.png "") 2. server processes related issue, some example include- Skill lag, prime example is Karka Queen- problem with coding or shared server, the server lag at Thunderhead Peak feels like this, my ping is normal, but there could be 10-15 seconds for the server to process my action, like gathering a node or attack a mobthat to me feels like the processes on the server hosting the map is overloaded
  12. i highly doubt it, M1 is based on the ARM architecture, not x86_64 you will need to wait for x86_64 emulation, while is still will not be the best because it's emulated not native
