  1. Hi what you think? Schold Scrapper provid team Quickness boon?

    What are your ideas to make Scrapper more popular/playable as dps/sup/heal role?

    Any other Ideas to put Quckness in other mechanics?

    Or maybe alacrity?

    that change have in mind to make scrapper more playable in roles :

     

    A) Sup role : Pover Scrapper with amulet+earnings (diviner)

     

    b) DPS role : full pover scrapper providing nice (but not top) dps with some Quckness to close gap of 10-20%

     

    c) Heal role : gyro healer with protection, 2 stab abilitis (Defense Field+Toss Elixir B) (now Elixir B make more sense as you can use it to keep up might for team Quckness) Bulwark gyro to take dmg of team on yourself with block, and nice 90% Quckness up time (might can be provided by alacren/sup)

     

     

    How that change meta?

     

    a) prob Scrapper can be nice alternative to qfb/hfb, as same will provid Quckness and heal good with providing tons stab to team as full healer

     

    b) prob fractal comp culd be qfb+scrapper+alac+dps+bs

     

    qfb and scrapper will heal togheter and togheter provid 11-12 might with combo of Empover+Blast Gryo and stab togheter so ther can be no need for hfb, as scrapper is good in term of team heal even as full dps or sup

     

    What you think? have you any other ideas to make that class more love?

     

    As right now you can see scrapper only in wvw and open word, sometimes in pvp

     

     

     

     

     

     

  2. you have posibility to pres /gg in group content to die instantly (fractals, raids, strikes)

     

    but ofc best option culd be to work on not geting downstate in first place ;)

     

    i recomend to use ascended knight rings stats (+pover+precision++toughnes) with captain amulet (+pover++precion+touchnes) if your using full berserk gear, that will make you -20% dps but your survability will rise drastically (vs mobs and other pover build users)

     

    in wvw downstate is kay function as you can start building cata or treb on that person for adional points to your server, or ress your duo you play with by finishing your enemy

     

     

     

  3. hmh overall it went well, i like new 7s with 5s+4s superspeed, it's eazier to use in wvw/pvp thx that compare to combo finisher (if you used pover firethrower with alchemy pots build with only healing gyro)

    also Schoting Detonation is nice too, it's like free adional heal skill if you spam 5 tool skills at once

    so now catching ranger/thief or any class with dash will be pointles in pvp or wvw, and to move from criple/chilled you will need heal youreself :open_mouth: ? uhh

     

    Over Shield: This trait has been reworked. It now causes the player to activate a skill that grants protection to nearby allies when using a shield skill.

     

    welp if ther will be no longer -20% cd, keeping up perm protection as sup scrapper with pistol+shield will be more harder

     

    Soothing Detonation: This trait has been reworked. It now heals in an area around the engineer each time they use a tool-belt skill instead of when using a blast finisher with a fire combo field.

  6. Bulwar gyro you use with shield skill, so you not only redirecting the dmg to you but also you block all dmg that got redirected to you

    Not only that not requre adding any new mechanics or reworking whole tree, but also it's eazy to implement

     

    Also preventing Holo from using it

     

    And will make Scrapper more welcome in raids/t4 as alternative/offmeta to qfb/hfb

  7. hi i started raiding 2 weeks ago, i cleared w1 full, w3 full, w2 Slashor, w4 i don't togcht yet (got 9li)

     

    what i was did it was joining to a open traning raid, and than i joined to guild that organizing such traning raids

    now i geting notifications whnever thay want to do traning on discord so i can just log on that time insted of waiting all day for that moment

     

    it's taking mostly 2-3 attemps to learn boss, sometimes if you still not understed somethink, guide on yt helping alot

     

    i usualy play scrapper, but i learned holo rifle and i feel more confortable right now on holo as well

     

    even tho i do 26-28k dps on scrapper right now and usualy ppl don't have problem with it once thay see how well i do on arcdps i try to play holo more offten as well cuz with holo i usualy end as top dps, scrapper i'm using only to practice, as it's tanky af even in full berserker gear and forgiving many mistakes with not much dps lose to holo

     

    raids are medium dificulity, and in order to complete them you want to do your best and try to improve to do even better

     

    don't do raids if your motivation isin't self improvment or if you don't like chalange

     

    i recomending you strike misions insted if your more of casual player as you can complite them even with random team

     

    only boneskinner is for ppl that like chalange rest is duable with 1-2 necros ressing downed ppl ;)

     

    i know you like your gameplay with your build and it's not eazy to find motivation to be inaf flexable to change to meta build but trust me, once you gona make it, you gona fast used to it, if you fell more save on your build go play on it for 1-2 times until you learn boss, and when you will feel more confortable try switch to meta

     

    reson is becose if you do small dps, it longer taking to kill boss, and the longer you kill boss, more chance for rip

    same many boss have somethink like dps check, that's mean if you not break his hp inaf fast to a x% it's one shot for team

  8. It would push it into the broken range, having a passive 50% uptime of quickness

    you actualy can have self 100% quickness up time with +44% boon Elixir U with alchemy tree and weapon rune who give you 5s(7s with 44% boon) quickness evry 20s after cc enemy making quickness loop infinity

     

    in groups it can be interesing if you gona have 2 scrapers in 1 team but other question culd be is it gona be worth xd

     

    As well, I feel Scrapper should not be a support. It should be a Tank/Duelist.

    but to be honest Scrapper is rly strong in 1vs1 or 1vs2-3 fights, i ended up solo pvp on 1450 rank, same in wvw my roam firethrower build with infinity quickness nuts to take solo objectives, same as killing lords solo

     

    when in wvw/pvp you got room yet as condi-clease, or bomb dps, or flamethrower/granades roamer in pve you starting to have problem to find place, you can be scrapper dps losing 5-6k dps to holo but your gona can do some mechanics more safe, and die less offten,

    problem is if you want to switch to sup your team will end up witchout alacricy or quickness as you taking 1 sup slot

     

    i tried dps sup scrapper with 25 might, and 2 heals togheter with elixir gun and thumper turret for blasts with perm protection in fractals (t3-t4) and it did well even witchout any heal stats your dps was 1/2 of pt (16-18k) similar to alacrity rew, bs or qfb and you culd keep your team healty

    it was in me+qfb+3dps comps

     

    problem starting in t4 as if you not create pt by yourself, you can't come to any team as in other compositions hfb or druid buffing might, same you not providing alacrity or quickness to get a slot different than dps or full heal

     

    if Scrapper will get 50% of team Quickness it will can synergy with hfb as he will can 50%, and you other 50% while you stay on dps spot and support with heal turret/medical gyro as well with Supply Crate ult from time to time when hfb have cd on them

     

    Same you will can take hfb spot (with healing+boon gear)

    or support spot, with 50% dps and rest is 22-25might,protection,vigor,stab, furry and small offheal togheter with Quickness this time

     

    this small change on https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Applied_Force culd give big room for scrapper in pve maybe not as meta, but as aceptable alternative

    Ability to buff Quickness, so scraper can be playable as off-meta support more offten in couse you can't find Quckness buffers to your team

     

    Turrets interval is optional, i added it only so it's similar to Quickness interval and for longer up time IF you decide use one or more turrets to support your group

     

    Been there, done that. Toss Elixir U at 10th of July 2018. Was patched back in December 2018.

     

    yep Elixir wasn't good idea for it

     

    Quickness should be accessible to more classes. But the trinity made the entire variety-situation a lot worse. Instead of distributing abilities equally on the classes, they are not concentrated on a few. I doubt they will change this strategy in the future

     

    adding Quickness in to trait that exist right now and have eazy way to implement as you only need add Number of Target 5, and short interval by 2s

     

    i think it have big green light to go compare to some big rework ideas

     

    if Quckness will be added, prob Scrapper Sup culd be played more offtean, and will join as off-meta/alternative as one of trinity

     

    insted of be absolutly "no go" as other sup is needed with that boon

     

     

  10. These changes would still not really help scrapper.

    it will as right now that class not Providing Quickness/Alacrity

     

    Adding quickness at last will move it from trash tier to "Great/Viable" and it's ezier to implement than Alacrity as we have trait that can make that work witchout bigger change to traits/mechanics

     

    Semi-organised groups can already maintain permanent quickness easily since qfb is throwing it out like candy

    And the turret trait doesn't solve the inherent problem of turrets. They are still easily destructed in PvE, putting a stop to your pulsing boons

    agree with it, but making it 10s->8s right now is eazier to implement what is my intention

    by 10s->8s i not mean to use them in pvp/wvw more often it's more pve change

     

    while team 3s quickness evry 8s culd be nice addional think on dps bomber, or 6s evry 8s on sup healer making that class even more welcome

     

    ( short reminder, that in order to get that quckness you need keep 10 might on you, using only blast gyro 16s might will make trigger that boon 2 times,

    than fb empover will make work to trigger it another time until your blast gyrro is rady) (in wvw)

     

    in pve that 10s->8s loop on turrets allow you to keep addional buff that team lack with 80% up time insted of 50-60%

     

    on fractals you culd keep up might up time by yourself only by fire turret + some blasts
