  1. If you're dying too fast try this tip: dodge first bomb second. Tbh I don't really understand the problem you have with support other than you have to pay attention to your party.(?) Scrapper is one of the easiest classes to play and fb isn't that hard to get your skills where they need to be if you turn on thick party health bars. WvW is one of the easiest game modes I've played in a competitive game, if you could call wvw competitive.
  2. Have you tried not caring? So what some nobody sends you words over a video game because you killed them. It's not like they're going to find you irl and start telling you you're bad or something. Block them if you don't like it and move on. It sounds like op is a minor but at some point you've gotta grow some thick skin.
  3. Considering it's intended to be used without LOS, working as intended.
  4. I'm just gonna throw this out there. Op sounds like they're not very good and looking for something to justify their weak gameplay as not being their fault. The weaver comment really gave it away when I play with extremely strong weavers who's only problem is that they're squishy so they have to play on the edge of fights but that's their role anyways so doesn't really matter. > @"Threather.9354" said: > > @"Zikory.6871" said: > > Wants more coordination but can't coordinate CC to counter super speed. Interesting reasoning for this complaint... > > > > Nice troll, we are trying to fix the game and you say "play better and just enjoy game in a bad state" The fact that op thinks being better at the game isn't an option, and that it constitutes trolling, just proves that they're upset by their own short comings.

If not for the lack of rewards, there's actually still quite a competitive scene with certain guilds and commanders with an 'closed tag'. Meaning there's less room for creativity and certain meta classes and builds will be picked over others. As you can imagine, the format is simply less rewarding like this for newer players, while they provide less to your team and server. You only need to worry about ascended trinkets to start. As somebody who just got into wvw last November after not playing the game since 2014, there isn't a large gap between new and old players. I played with only ascended trinkets for a while and topped dps because I had the individual mechanical ability to do it. I still play most of my classes with only ascended trinkets because certain stat types, minstrel, are very expensive so I take the cheap way out. The idea that just because a guild is playing private tag means you can't experiment is kind of a joke too. When you first join that absolutely true because you have to prove you're a skilled player and not just some random who doesn't know what they're doing. I routinely test new traits and builds with my guild group because I've shown them that I can perform and my tests are worthwhile. As an example, the meta scrapper build runs applied force but I refuse to run a trash trait so I run kinetic stabilizers instead. It also plays bulwark gyro but I got a lot of sbi players, in and out of my guild, to swap to shredder after seeing another player use it to great effect. People just get these weird ideas in their head about how inaccessible wvw is for random reasons that generally don't exist. Play the mode, get better, be useful to your squad and you'll have a load of fun. I got into wvw because pvp was less rewarding to new players and wvw is free form so you get as much out as you put in.
  6. With full zerker Rev I've gotten 9k sword auto. If you use diviner expect a dps loss. Also make sure you use dps traits if you really want to pump out dps. Don't forget that enemies can play toughness too and good players think about that kind of stuff when they make builds for roaming.

One thing I wanted to point out though, you can achieve perma protection on Necromancers really easily by simply taking Death Magic. Honestly, it feels like you haven't really looked into Necro too much, and given your average to mediocre skill level, you would probably perform better as a Necro. But at the same time, you don't seem to like Necromancers as a whole, so you'll probably just enjoy playing Rev more. > > the protection inherent to renegade does not require 25 stacks of carapace to get or maintain. it's not the same thing. Dwarf stance with herald gets 100% reduction windows if you need it too. Somebody said rev is low sustain but that's a huge joke. Op made the right choice
  8. Sbi has a botter in the big guild. Been trying to get them banned since November and nothing. Even submitted picture and video to mods, got told "just report them" and that's been working real well LOL
  9. Wait you're complaining about others being annoying with their play and you're cheesing people off walls with dh? Good laugh, needed that thanks.

I have never seen that commander lose his/her cool, very charismatic when it comes to giving directions to the members of the squad and also the scouts on other maps and very welcoming to the newbies of the game mode. > > > > If you think warscore makes you skilled I feel bad for you. Play a real competitive game, there's plenty on the market, if you want to have an ego about being on a leaderboard. In any esports game I'd consider sos and it's general player base to be ultra casual. I'd also consider you to be ultra casual and low tier for having such a terrible outlook on game systems and the community at large. There's nothing wrong with being casual or enjoying the way other casuals play but let's not convince ourselves that we're skilled because we can ppt and run from fights. Like you said, it's pathetic and I feel bad for you. > > Let me say this again, gw2 has no deathmatch mode on any of its pvp content like SPVP or WvW. So your kdr doesn't really matter. You can go ahead and fight and kill other players on open fields but main focus of the game is to capture to win. Is this a really hard concept for you to understand? > > And what's wrong about being casual? Do you even make money out of this game? As far as I know, gw2 left the e-sports scene when spirit rangers were still a thing on Spvp. > > If you're really into kdr, this game is not for you. You may as well just play a shooting game. You can boast about your kdr over there. Grade 1 called and told me you're failing reading comprehension. If you want to be on a server that's low skill, runs from fights and only ppts then have at her. Just don't tell people it makes you good or that you're "winning." What exactly are you winning anyways? A chance to play against the same server for months with no variation and being stuck sitting in your third on eb until a couple roamers fart in your direction and you get 2 bags? Wow yeah I'm real jealous of you. Top tier player over here, very skilled, deserving of your massive ego.
  11. > @"LetoII.3782" said: > I'm really impressed nobody brought up the aussie swarm yet > Or did i ruin it -_- I don't have anything against sos or what Claire's doing, I just think it's silly to have an ego over a game without a real competitive system. Posting imgur links to warscore only shows to us that they're a bad player trying to justify their own ego with a metric that doesn't mean anything.

  13. If they're doing nothing of value, you admit this, then who cares? This seems like a non-issue that you admit is a non-issue but somebody made you salty, prob knock back with no stab, so you come to complain.
  14. Either start no tome or tome 3, you start tome 2 and your party has no stab for a long time because of this. You drop tomes before finishing all the pages; if you need to drop a tome spam 1 instead of just wasting the rest of your pages. Tome 3 you need to use skill 1 to give stab, skill 4 for resistance and skill 5 for more stab. Tome 3 skill 3 is a reflect bubble so either place it on your squad or on the enemy squad. Tome 2 skill 5 is a large healing buff that your engis want to take advantage of so call it in voice chat. T2 skill 4 is a water field that your engis want to blast so same thing. T2 skill 1 is a minor heal so use it to supplement your engi, as well as skill 2 for off cleanse if you need. Elite mantra is a stun break for you and your party members if it hits them, you're too far away from your party to stun break them so you should be on tag 24/7 watching for the thick health bars (turn them on if you dont) so you can give them the support they need. Don't waste elite mantra unless you need the stab and don't have book 3 available or you/your party needs the stun break. I'm not a firebrand main but I play a lot of support engi and it's important for me to know what my firebrand wants to be doing. Not a perfect guide but it'll help you improve at least. The biggest thing is book 3 skill 1 is your primary stab, use syg on engage and don't pump all your stab out at once or you'll just wipe your party if the fight goes long. Don't let anybody catch you wasting tomes like you do in the video anymore, very bad.
