you know that champ mob in the domain of vabbi in the protection bubble you need to fight for skyscale? I solo'd that on reaper. I used a Blood, SR, Reaper build, and it took a while because it has a ton of HP, but I did it.

I used to be a necro main. Then Anet killed wells for absolutely no reason and gave is a GM trait to replace the well trait that is useless in 99.99% of situations and then made scourge a joke. Now I main Weaver and Renegade. Weaver is an awesome duelist which is something that I had going on reaper pre-well nerfs (yes I played well reaper for dueling). Power renegade is also really fun and survives longer than I expected.

The best way I've found to use LB on DH is to us it in your sword circle trap combo. Pretty much the combo goes: 1) lay trap 2) Us spear of justice only pull to trigger IF they are too far for GS pull 3) use GS 5 to pull (or spear if at higher range) and spring trap 4) use LB 2 and 3 for damage and to push trough blade wall 5) pull back through wall with GS 5 or spear I will admit this is a bit of a unicorn combo and requires no evades or Stab. Otherwise longbow is kinda meh at best on DH

I'm pretty sure the metabattle build is full berserker, scholar runes. So healing/barrier is poopy, but big dps and boon strips and some cleanse. Alternatively you could run celestial armor, weapons, amulet and either grieving or viper's rings, accessories and back or just full celestial. Unfortunately, you cant be good at dps and healing unless you run a condi variant with a mix of apothecary/witchdoctor/etc. and even then it's not amazing at either. You can do the boon strip and cleansing with a dps build, but healing/high barrier is a no go.

You can't play a class that is centralized in mobility, stealth, and single target damage with essentially rat urine supporting ability and expect to be welcomed to a group synergy boon fiesta. Thats not to say the boon fiesta is a good thing, but thief's talents lie in the small scale environment...

I'd love one, but it'd have to be an overloaded traitline (traits are too strong compared to other classes) to make up for the complete lack of supporting ability in core thief.

Just from my experience with reaper, firebrand (condi/hybrid), and weaver they would be far too strong. Reaper would be able to take spite, blood, SR and reaper which is sustain (not as good without well trait) on top of beeg damage. Weaver yould be able to take fire, weaver, Arcane and any of the other 3 for bigger damage or sustain (and hybrid fire weaver needs neither of those things). Lastly, Imagine the standard burn guard, with all of the added bonuses that firebrand gives, like axe, quickness etc.

Why are people still looking for necro nerfs? Necro has too few viable builds as it has lost too many good skills and traits. Like i dropped necro entirely because i play wvw and the like 2 strong buids for small scale arent very fun, and necro gets kited to easily... How's about we as a community start looking for Anet to buff classes that are under performing and promote more build diversity. Necro has almost a whole elite spec (RIP scourge) because of the "waaaaaah nerf this because owwwy" mentality.

Fergusson's Crossing is pretty good. Most of the bigger guilds seem pretty chill. Though sometimes the guilds that are running are match-up dependent

I want a condi focused elite spec for necro thats not peepee poopoo. Bonus points if they give us new weapons altogether.
