  1. Not a fan of an instant 80 as some people complete expansions in a day or two if they liturally have no life.

I'd rather them be like lvl 50, and have 2 maps of their own, allowing for a small little personal story that only lasts about 3 full missions (every 10 levels with various instances) before they reach the 80 expansion.

Lazy people or those who don't care for story can just use tomes to max them.

I actually agree with the dude. I mean the many times I've probably ignored people when semi AFK just because there is no decent way to hear or know when you are being messaged. I would definitely be thankful for it, although I must admit, there are so many amazing ideas out there, small or large that do not get any attention, so I can understand if this is low on the list, too.

    This.

And even if they read and get the point people are bringing up, there's no guarentee their higher-ups will take it into consideration unless it becomes a big deal.

And I wonder if ANet will ever learn this....

It's not just that one event or map, either. A ton of PoF events had been as equally unfuffilling, despite the effort put in by people.

  5. This thread is gold.

In all seriousness though, I am just surprised that after all this time they haven't added an option to log on using your social websites, instead, as an alternative.

We all have FB groups or other site groups where we browse GW2 memes and screenshots. This way, you'd find familiar pals, help boost certain threads, causes, and more relatable people would join disscussions you're involved in. Plus your profile pic could be used if you chose to.

  6. I'm pretty casual, don't do raids or pvp. Only WvW and PvE.

The last story I managd to do, alone on my Power Reaper (Power/Precis/Feroc) , all exotics, even the GS and staff.

Died once or twice due to my own idiocy and not getting the right jumps in during the "get to the air and fly from his attack" phase, and another during the fight against Eir.

Beyond that, it wasn't bad. Was suprised about the fight reseting, but it only pushed me to try harder and remember my mistakes.

Not sure if boss scaling had anything to do with your problem though, but I assumed that it required more than a 5 party team to make the Boss's tougher, to scale the fight fairly (sometimes making the fight unnecessarily longer and rougher if one or two of you are being carried threw the fight).

  7. Mostly, I'm an RP/cosplay completionist.

For me, most of my WvW or PvE story content is occupied with my RP characters.

41 out of 46, if you will.

I'm in 2 fully active guilds, and the rest are my own creations (for name sake and tag matching with one or two characters of mine).

I'd definitely **Pay** to get more guild slots.

Truth be told, I'd probably waste quite a bit on guild slots just for the guild name/tags I could make to match my mains.

**But**... I don't see a reason to have more guilds in all honesty, it's not a huge deal, and if it drains resources from Devs, then **no**.

Would be more helpful though for us character junkies, or socials.

  8. Some new players may think the sigils are worthless and won't choose it at lvl64...and the odd few may even destroy it or forget about it.

It's their first time, so they maye have seen how crap most sigils sell for and decided to put it away in the warehouse or sell to a merchant.

I've seen the issue of supply and demand becoming a problem in a past MMO, and it only served the company better, which blamed it on playerbase....

Those who farmed got it eventually, and those that couldn't wait bought store website currency with cash and got website items to sell for gold, which then they could buy their items ingame.

Seems like the start to a bigger issue, if this happens with every new collection.

Thankfully we are still at a point where we can farm decent gold and don't rely on Gems to Gold, very often..
