    1. Not sure if the guardian build is medtrapper, it's the one with all the shit on the floor, and applies a lot of burn. Both specs guardian and reaper have something in common, a lot of cc, the guardian keeps pulling me from everywhere, goes through all my stun breaker so I die to the burst and burning, again, not sure if it's the medtrapper build

I agree, the level of rage comes from how easily it can be execcuted, like the eng build I said. This build is super annoying and you need a specific build to counter it.

I'm still having fun reading all the comments. As a warrior I do ok against the deadeye, but I've seen some squisher builds getting taken down really quickly.

    > * If your team is losing every team fight where you are not at, in some ridiculously lopsided match, to have the best chance of winning you must first help them win those team fights as a priority before doing any side nodding or decapping. If you do not, it will be entirely impossible to ever achieve a 2 node hold for a win. This is so true in ridiculously lopsided matches that it makes a strong side node performance completely negligent if his other team mates are unable to seal the deal on a 2nd node cap.

    >

    > Ultimately when it comes to lopsided matches, your team needs to be winning team fights. It doesn't matter what build you're on, you need to be helping them win team fights and create snowball or you're not going to win the match. This is especially true if you are the higher MMR player on your team. The higher MMR player needs to allocate his weight wisely against the opponents. If the higher MMR player is off holding far node against two easy kills who are repeatedly pushing him, that means that the opponents higher MMR player is off crushing his team on the other two nodes. If you truly are the higher MMR player on your team, you need to identify the higher MMR opponent and weight yourself against him so you can defend team fights instead of letting him crush them.

    > The video bellow is the exact same type of match that your OP post refers to. In the video I review my performance and ask myself "what could have been done better to carry this match?" During this self review, I was able to acknowledge many things that could have been done better. Even after 6 years of play, it never hurts to review yourself. I suggest trying it out.

It really depends on what bracket you at. I've just become gold, and I can tell, below that climbing mmr by holding a single pnt is completely possible. They get super mad when they dont manage to kill you, so they bring 1, 2, 3,..., as many as they need to kill. And your team is outnumbering the rest of the team in other pts. But I do agree, it's better to rotate mid and disrupt their fights, and get back to the far node.

  4. I voted for deadeye.

Far from op but really annoying with the perma stealth. Maybe a mesmer can burst them really quickly. As I play warrior i just hide behing walls and take the point bit by bit wasting his time.

I think the other classes are ok, there are a few really good to play. And another ones that really need some buffs.

  5. The pvp threads should show what rank are ppl. Most of complaints are tierwise, and most of the balances requested are not accurated. Im sitting in silver rank, almost gold, and in this specific tier i feel SB is quite strong, hollo is decent too. The FC CD could be bigger, because you can buy time enough to get all your heals up while you spam it. Hollo is a little bit easier to deal with, heavy condi or boon strip should do it easily.

    > In that specific line of the crash, the `OOM` stands for `Out Of Memory`, which is how we know with certainty that this was the root cause. (It's programmer jargon, basically.)

Makes sense, since I experience the crashes on high populated maps because they draw memory faster

    > Looks like the issue is using the 32-bit client. You run out of memory because the game now requires the 64-bit client. Update your OS to 64-bit, and download and use the GW2 64-bit client.

  9. Hi

Last year I came back to the game and I've been experiencing constant crashes

I quit the game back in 2015 and by then I use to run the game smoothly, having some crashes here and there, but nothing too annoying.

My autodetect graphs put me almost on full ultra graphs.

Now it's impossible to walk in LA with this graph set, even in low graphs game crashes constantly.

The issue happens in all high populated maps. LA, DR and PoF maps.

    What is causing this?

Is it an installation bug or game became havier and my system is now outdated to run with smooth?

    PC spec:

    AMD 8320 octacore

    8GB RAM

    geforce 650 TI 2GB

    windows 7

  10. Hello

I'm returning to the game after 2 years, I left when HoT was announced.

I'm bringing 2 friends that are new to the game.

So I need to get updated about some stuff.

    1) Dungeon Runs

I wanna carry my friends through some dungeons, so they can get their exotic gear and get used to the game mechanics.

Do you guys have any tips on youtube channels with speedrun guides? The videos I found are old or solo runs.

    2) Ascended Gear

I've made my research on this and found this article https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascended_armor

By the time I left the only reliable way to get ascended armor was by crafting.

I played a fair bit of pvp, and got 2 pieces by then.

What's the best mode to get this armor right now?

    3) Gold Farm

My friends will prolly need some gold to get the runes and perhaps craft their ascended armor.

I'd appreciate some tips on this matter aswell. YT videos or channels if possible.

    Thx

    > I think the game is in a great spot but I play every single game mode a bit.

Yeah, I know, I used to play DC Universe online, and the loud minority on forums killed literally killed the game.

  12. ok, thank you, I dont have any expansion and after what i heard here i'm not buying them. I left the game because I felt I was having no fun at all, I was just farming gold to buy cosmetics. I remember I left pve completely, and pvp was fun for a while, then HoT came out and the new specs were like super strong, and the game kinda became p2w.

  13. I left the game right when the HoT came out

Game at that point had many issues

PvE was zerk and stack (i didnt had problems with that), and most world bosses were auto attack spam fest

Leveling was endless karma train in hotm

WvW was basically numbers in Tier 1

PvP balance was kinda abandoned, i remember the hot specs ware so much better and the pvp balances happened roughly each 6 months.

Today a friend asked me to play with him, so i want to know how the game is now, from what he told me game is fine right now. The foruns at least look a lot more positive, by the time most was complaints, about the meta, about class balances, etc.
