  1. The last game I played had so many hackers it was ridiculous, and they were never permanently banned, at best were given a month suspension and a name change ticket. What was even more frustrating was known hackers, players that had already been banned for said crime, openly posing on the games forum that hacks didn't exist, and it was down to others 'lack of skill'. A quick google would prove them wrong. I am therefore very skeptical of any one who openly posts on any forum that no hacks exist for any game.

With that game I could, to a degree, understand it, gear was everything, pvp was everything. But, seriously, I cannot get my head round why people feel the need here. It's just not the same kind of game. When i'm on my raptor and someone whizzes past me I silently chuckle that it was that important to someone to be able to do that. In GW2.

It is true to say that the hacking I encountered on my last game drove many people away , and although a 'fix' had been found it was never used because guess what, the players who openly dissed any hacks also spoke out about how useless these anti hack programs were and they were never used in game.

Hacking isn't an issue that will suddenly go away, what ever is done to solve it something else will over ride that. I don't let it spoil my enjoyment now however, who's the loser right?

  2. People who use 'boxes of fun' by chests

Likewise people who think it's funny to place portals by the chests in metas

The fact the armour is so pig ugly for all types. I lived for the armour in GW1.

Not being able to clear your chat.

No cantha. No word from anyone regarding adding cantha.

The stories at times are too long.

The fact you have a limit on selling on the TP then have to wait before selling again.

No way of changing maps, other than player hop, especially in the case of Istan.

Mount bugs. My ranger loves being crossed legged jumping on the ground on her butt.

Not being able to stand still in a map to say head to a WP without being attacked, not even for a second.

    No GvG. cos 'guildwars'

But i love the game anyways :)

  3. Not really my cup of tea after playing games that people must have cute, huge eyed characters wearing next to nothing school girly outfits. I don't think it would suit this game to be fair. Lots of games out there if you wanna be 'kawaii'.

    > As I understand it, Palawadan is on a timer and should always happen at nightfall. When Palawadan is not active, the Great Hall event chain is triggered by filling the bar of the Sunspear Uprising meta-event. (The first Great Hall after Palawadan might trigger automatically, but I'm not sure about that.) On broken maps, the Palawadan event chain is permanently stuck at the "The Sunspear Attack on Palawadan is imminent" stage and doesn't progress. Since the Palawadan event chain doesn't end on these maps, it also prevents the Sunspear Uprising meta-event, and thus the Great Hall, from starting.

Yeah i know. I just think there are more factors why it doesn't always work that's all.

  6. The last game I played had housing , every character I played had one so that amounted to 14. I spent hours in auctions, leveling a craft so I craft furniture and cupboards, playing the game to keep up the maintenance cost. They were useful for extra storage and farming mats, but for me a 'purpose' to play.

Then the company in charge decided in their wisdom to have server merges and although I got my money back, I lost every house and all the hours I had spent. Pretty much the final nail in the coffin for me and it was one of the reasons I quit, so much time and effort thrown in my face. They thought it was funny and so did the community.

Now I'm not saying A-net would be like that, quite the opposite, but although I can see the gem store opportunities, I think housing would be a parasite. I certainly wouldn't be rushing to do any thing housing related any way.

Once bitten, well you know the rest.
