  1. This Fractal needs to be nerfed or toned down somewhat, not for me, i hate it, but i can do it fine, it's for the sake of others, everytime this one is on the daily rotation, it's a nightmare, you create a group, people do the other ones, and when it's Siren's time, everyone just left, then you have to sit there waiting 2 hours for a group just to do this specific Fractal, and that's if you get lucky, most days T4 Siren's Reef is one fractal i know i won't be able to do because everyone refuses to do it.

My specific problem with this one is just the mob spam, they are different from every other in the game, they are all veteran, they spam the most annoying condis in the game (chilled, slowed, crippled and weakness), and they even stack, some days ago i had 30 seconds of chilled lol, they don't rally you when killed, they don't even give drops, Molten Boss and Urban Battlegrounds for example, have mob spam of sorts, but they all give loot (when i started doing fractals one guy got a precursor in Urban), aside from that, i think the rest is fine, the boss fights, the mechanics, etc.

  2. Just add diminishing returns, like a lot of Mobas has this, let's say you get stunned for 3 seconds, then you get a knockaback of 3 seconds right away, that knockback is reduced to 2,5 seconds, and so on, to the point were all CC get's reduced to 0,1 seconds.

Unless we already have that lol.

  3. Why not nerf the tomes, like, when FB exits or waste a Tome, the other tomes goes on a 5 or 10 sec cooldown or something, then they can rework that trait that gives extra pages to reduce this CD, to 5 seconds if it's 10 sec base, or 3 sec if it's 5 sec base, would make FB players think more before just spamming tomes, and players against FB have a window to punish the FB after he uses one, this could be the "Firebrand Mechanic Tradeoff", kinda like Holo when it overheats.

I think currently when you open a tome the others goes on a short CD right? But i guess it's doesn't help much.

Just don't nerf it in PvE, Tomes saves lives in Fractals with terrible Instability combos hehehe.

  4. My only problem with this one is the icicle atack, dunno if it's bugged or supossed to work like that, you have to dodge when the red AoE ends, not when the projectiles lands on you, but since i have a somewhat high ping (160-190), i have to dodge a bit earlier, but even then sometimes it does not work and i still get hit, can get confusing sometimes.

Good thing is that so far, in all groups i went people knew to get away so the circles don't stack.

Aside from that, i liked it, easier that buggskinner hehe, i just need to train my DPS a bit, i can do 20-28k DPS on most fractal and strike bosses (with proper buffs of course), but this guy i can never go above 15k lol, or maybe i need to change class for this one, Guardian is kinda crapy on "non stationary" bosses, due to relliance on symbols to do damage.

  5. There's 2 achievements to complete it without being detected through the entire stance, even the boss fight, one normal and one CM if i'm not mistaken, you need those to get the Luminescent Armor.

I think in LWS4 too, you have a mission to infiltrate an inquest base, and there's achievements to do it without being detected as well.

Doing these "stealth challenges" as achievements is better, cause a lot of people struggle with this kinda stuff, i have some problems as well, but that's because of my somewhat high ping (160-190).

Making 100% stealth missions would make a lot of people pissed, hell, a lot of people already struggle with "1,1,1, spamming" in story missions (Eater of Souls and Scruffy 2.0 comes to mind).

  6. Why not "nerf" stealth only as an escape tool, like, all classes that have stealth, can just use it in front of everyone and disengage easily, without any way to be countered.

You can make it like those Mordren/Frogs who go invisible, but if you have the mastery you can still see their form, make it so, if someone goes invisible in front of you, you see their outline so you can follow and punish him, if a player wants to have true invisibility while in combat, they would need to hide or break LoS first, it would make players think more before going insivisible, and not just using and going away 100% safe.

The other one i tought is to reduce insivisible time by half if you stealth in front of your opponent, like he's more aware of his surroundings and will detect you faster, so like in the above suggestion, you wanna disengage with stealth, you have to think a safe course of action first, or your opponent have a better chance of punishing you,

Don't see much of a problem in it being used as an attack tool tbh, it's PvP, you should be aware at all times.

  7. They said there's a new "harder events" mechanic, that if you do some events and stuff it will spawn some harder events/versions, maybe Drakkar has one too, and we haven't found it yet.

Or they could create one for Drakkar, so people would have to complete a lot of events in the map to spawn this "harder Drakkar" with more mechanics and better rewards, kinda like Silverwastes when you look at it.

  8. Yeah, could have a warning in T2 that it's used in crafting, remember those stand alone armors you could drop in Dry Top (Adventurer's Scarf and Spectacles if i'm not mistaken), and you need them to craft the Adventurer's Mantle, so they have that "this item is a crafting ingredient" thingy at the bottom, could have done the same on Boreal Weapons.

Tough from now on, i guess nobody is going to trash crafted weapon sets anymore xD

  9. nteresting that nowadays people think the only way to have big sick dps is bring 5 dps in t4. When no one play support, 5 dps means 5 corpses.

    > Lol what?! Do you think we always had healers in this game or something?

This is kinda right, but it has to do with these new instabilities, before the rework you could do any T4 with any instability combo without a healer, just needed someone providing boons, and 4 DPS players who knew what they were doing, and you were good to go, did that a lot of times.

With this rework and these new instas, you just have big damage/one-shots thrown around by every adds, and now you need a healer to succeed, you can still get it without a healer, bu only if you get an easy combo.

Dunno if it's humanly possible to complete Observatory with Frailty, Outflanked and We Bleed Fire without a healer hehehe.

  10. Every skill can hit hard enough, some time ago i was doing WvW for Gift of Battle (with my full Zerker DH that i use in Fractals lol), and in a small scale battle i used Longbow skill 5 and the last hit did 10k damage, not to mention True Shots hitting for 10k-15k sometimes.

Thing is tough, a lot of time i was hitting people for garbage damage, at the top of my head, it was mostly Warriors, Soulbeasts, Scrappers and some Eles (Weavers i believe, just spamming a lot of barrier), most of the time it was people using defensive stuff effectively, perma Protection in the case of SB and SP, and Barriers in the case of Weavers, as long as you have some defensive buff like Protection, and not a lot of Vul stacks (witch one counters the other??), you won't get hit by those numbers.

I was in a "Fractal Dragonhunter", with full zerker armor and weapons, with sigil of impac and air, scholar runes, and on these people the highest damage i could see were some 3-4k, and on True Shot only, when it crit.

  11. Not the worst, i remember in Aika online, the Rifleman class could stealth for 1 minute with a 2 minute CD, and he could attack while invisible, only way to reveal him was doing damage, but even them, if the skill was already off CD he could re-stealth again. PvP was interesting, you just dying from an enemy you could not even see hehe.

But for GW2, they could make one of two things:

If you are fighting another player and he stealths in front of you, his stealth duration is reduced by half (you could say this is a effect of your character being more aware).

Or, he will have "half stealth", and he will be partially invisible, like those Mordrem/Frogs in HoT after you train the mastery, this way people would have to think before just stealthing in combat, having to disengage and break LoS before even trying to go invisible (except on WvW of course, maps are too big for this mechanic to be fair for invisible players).

  12. Only problem with this kinda thing, is that it kills maps, i don't mind getting tons of skins, for mounts, gliders, weapons, etc, that's not my "end game", but the problems is, other people do, and if they don't fell like going to these maps cause they are not profitable, that end up hurting the way i and many others play the game.

Hell, it's been 2 months i'm trying to get Thunderhead Peaks meta related achievements and Wintergust but i can't, nobody does it, yeah i don't play on prime time, but still, you have people, those bonus boxes events are proof of that, even on non prime time you saw a lot of different squads doing the metas/world bosses, this means that people are willing to do all the content this game has to offer, even old ones, if they can get good rewards from it.

They could make something related to meta events and world bosses that are on the 2 hour timer and requires organized groups, have some options.

1- Make all of these events give 1 or 2 gold after a sucessfull completion, like Tequatl and TT does, some of the "dead events" are way harder than these two (VB and Thunderhead Peaks comes to mind), of course, would have to see the impact that would have on the economy.

2- Create a new currency for these events (this one is kinda bad, another currency when we already have a toon), and put some good items that players could buy with these, you could get one currency per event per day (this way people won't just stay on Dragonfall and Silverwastes all day hehe), and could buy some other currencies, some new skins, etc, hell even BL statues at a somewhat high price.

3- Another solution, but not likely to happen at all, is to just put BL statues to drop, once per day per event, and maybe with a limit of 10 per day, remove some rewards (like the trash item that gives gold), and increase the price of everything, specially the items that cost less than 10 statues, this way players have a way of getting Gem Store stuff by just playing the game.

And i would say this could even increase the sale of Black Lion Keys, some people would be like "oh man, only 10 statues left to buy this outfit, but i already reached my daily limit, gonna buy 10 keys real quick so i can finally get it".

  13. Was with a great group i think 3 days ago, we cleared 99 and Snowblind easily, then we got to Underground Facility, with Frailty, Outflanked and Sugar Rush, it was just impossible to survive the constant pressure of Dredge hitting you very fast for 5k while in front of you and one-shotting for 15k if you got hit from behind, we could not survive long enough for the door to get open, and we even had a barrier necro helping, still, too much damage being trown around.

Hate a lot of these new instabilities, the only increased "one-shot potential" from mobs, like, bosses hit way hard, but they are huge, they have tells, Ensollys can hit you for 8k from behind with a single auto, and his other skills will one-shot you, but they are easy to see and dodge, how tf you deal with 10 mobs atacking you at the same time dealing 4k damage per hit, don't have enough reflects or dodge to escape from that, well, unless you bring 5 Guardians lol.

  14. Tequalt give 2g every time you complete it for the first time, why not make all events that are on a huge timer, and are hard/require a lot of cordination have the same reward, some of those are 10x times harder than Tequatl (VB and DB Shatterer comes to mind), but they give zero rewards, most of them you do for a collection or achievement once, and them never again.

Tough yeah, we have to take into account if this "increase in gold gain" would have any effects on the economy, but i'm sure all these meta events would be populated every time of the day, the "bonux boxes" events are proof of this.

  15. For me the problem is the Fractal itself, it needs a rework, too many mobs, even compared to other Fractals, Dungeons, Raids, etc.

1= They put out the most annoying conditions in the game, chill, slow, cripple, there are times when you all 3 at the same time, not to mention the others, and that's without Afflicted, the other Fracs that have "mob spam", like Urban Battlegrounds, Oasis, Facility, etc do not have this condi problem, at most i see a cripple and burning here and there.

2= They are all veteran and elite, the rally mechanic is completely disabled for who knows what reason, i believe this is the only place in the entire game were it does not work.

And they don't give loot, not even trash, every other Frac with mob spam, they give lot (except U. Facility i believe), some years ago, i was doing Urban Battleground, and one guy in our group got frigin Dusk when we were killing the mobs on the path to the courtyward, dude even gave 20g to everyone in the party to "share the luck", you don't have that in Siren's, lots of useless mobs that don't even rally you.

For me the problem is not the instabilities, more the frigin add spam, also tbh, i think instabs like Social Awkwardness, Flux Bomb, Mist Convergence, Vindicators, are the best ones in the game, and the ones that really represent what a instability should be, the fractal really "changing" in front of your eyes and you having to adapt, different from stuff like frailty, outflanked, sugar rush, etc, where it's just some numbers changing and now "enemies deal way more damage lelelelel".

  16. My problem is that the new instabilities reinforced the need for a "holy trinity" even more.

Before, you could complete any fractal without a healer, if you had a decent team of DPS/boon giver players that knew how to dodge, dps, do mechanics, etc.

Nowadays with these instas you are required to have a healer or you will die, all of them are just "give a crap ton of damage to enemies, and you will get instakilled by a simple non veteran mob", not that needing a healer is a bad thing, but being forced because you have only 8k HP and enemies will deal 30k damage when atacking you from behind is just ugh.

That's why i think instabilities like Flux Bomb, Vindicators, Mist Convergence and even Social Akwardness are the best ones, they really feel like a "instability in the mists", the scenario is changing and everything, the others are just "numbers are changed, now enemies deal more or less damage".

Fells like Mayhen in Borderlands 3 lol, we tough it was going to be this crazy thing, and it's just " you deal less damage with elemental weapons, and enemies deal more damage", hehe.
