Did not get Banners of Amnoon item after Blazing a Trial story step

I just finished this chapter for the first ever time on my account. The achievement and collection shows that I have obtained the exotic back item, but it never appeared in my inventory. Did I miss a special step or is this a separate reward?

Did you receive one of the other Banners? What choice did you make in the chapter?

Aint that a item that go straight in collection it dont get into your inventory like the heart of thorns backpacks.

No, it's an item (a piece of gear), but you must have made the correct choice in the Story.

~~Oh its been awhile, OP the wiki state you can only get the item once per account so have any of your other characters done the exact same choice?~~

I did not. I chose to let Amnoon be independent.

You do know that a Banner won't appear in your inventory, yes?
