Meta grief

What's up with all of the extra question marks? ;)

 

Seriously, though. Some people enjoy doing this. Anet hasn't seen a reason to change it.

 

Do keep in mind, though, that some people have that thing that spawns a merchant as soon as their inventory is full. If that happens when they're looting a boss chest, it will automatically spawn on the chest and there really isn't anything that they can do about it.

We had another one today during Auric Basin's meta. Someone spawned tons of Metal Bars (y'know, that junk item useful for some CC) right on top Traitor's Chest. I'm already aware of how to avoid this pathetic behaviour myself but other players don't. The most curious is that even after Traitor and HP bosses were dead and the lot of us were already looting the chests, the culprit stood there, looking at the chest throwing more and more bars at it.

 

ANet sees this very important QoL funny just like those who do it and because of that they never implemented the necessary conditions to not allow interactible objects/skills near other interactible objects.
