GW Noob.6038 Posted June 12, 2020 Share Posted June 12, 2020 I was in the neighborhood [the Desolation] and saw that there was a guild doing the Maws of Torment meta, so I joined in...couldn't figure out how to spike the portal, though, before the thing ended. You need to collect a realm residue (walk over the sparkly yellow things dropped by the mobs at the portal) which allows you to pick up a spike and use it on the portal. Thanks a bunch! It’s easier than it used to be, but it is still easy to miss out. You will be chipping away it for a while. I’m still trying to get the drinking fountain achievement in Istan done. These achiev have some not good behavior: you can do it only per one event in one location in one place, 100 times .. So many player skip that.
