Wells CD in WvW

In WvW, both Well of Corruption(Corrupt well) and Well of Suffering(Damage Well) do not need baseline cooldown reduction as stated by like all of the wvw community. While doing this i would like to remind devs that please do not revert the cooldown reductions for Well of Blood(Heal well), Well of Power(Stunbreak well) and the Well of Darkness as they are not used at all atm and could use the trade-off from completely removing the wells grandmaster from blood magic as they don't break the game and the niche roaming or small scale uses the grandmaster had with wells will need those cd reductions.

Wells will lose a lot of their strength with the loss of Vampiric Rituals (a very strong trait that cause Wells to siphon a lot of Health from enemies and to apply protection to allies, it also reduce the cooldown of Wells).

 

A cooldown reduction seems fine to me. It is just a minor compensation for a great loss.

Yes, there is a loss in healing and protection but Blood Magic is no longer required to get a cool down reduction. It is a nerf to support builds but a buff to more aggressive builds. WoD is a solid buff, especially fir condi builds and Reaper.

Honestly, with the shade nerfs (12 maximum targets instead of 15, when using small shades), which actually needed a lot more skill to play than just selecting big shade (5 targets pre patch)

It's pretty obvious that people will go back to big shade.

Bigger radius and hits 10 people if you are inside the enemy.

 

The only thing this patch did was that it made scourge easier to play for bad players, and took away rewards (more dmg/corrupts) for good players. And that's really really sad

This is also true for bunker builds. Since all spite gm traits are offensive now and the signet trait grants a lot less sustain, the core bunker build was forced to trade sustain for damage/corrupts.

 

But it wasn't enough. If you can't cheese with lich form because it's on CD or your target kites, then core power necro deals still way too less damage to be a threat.
