How to improve Herald (PvE only)

Another idea would be to make the [burst of Strength](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Burst_of_Strength) stacking its buff.

Its an quite weak passive, with an quite weak active. And since its hitting 2x it could stack its buff to an stack of 2. (2x +25%, if both strikes hit.)

This would bring herald an tiny bit more active gameplay + it would help it damage-wise quite a bit.

 

it would grant herald access to an actual Burst Damage, but overall it would still be an ~11% damage increase.

The burst is the main thing heralds are lacking in most of raid&fractal encounters.

 

this buff would bring Draconic Echo-Herald to bench for ~31k dps, which is .... still garbage id say.

Pure DPS Herald would bring that to an bench of ~35k dps at golem , which would be ok.

Enough to compete with an DPS Soulbeast, that could share its Stances, instead of simple standard boons.
