ascended armour strikes?

hello im a returning player im having hard time getting ascend armor been back for 1 month now the last week i been doing strikes but only got 60 crystals what should i do to get more?

6-11 in Forging Steel

and likely 1-3 in all others that are short , I haven't paid attention to it in a while since I just do the dailies for the weekly chest.

Make sure to do all strikes weekly, fill up the bubbles on the chest in eye of the north. When you open it with 3 crystals you get a lot more shards.

In case the OP doesn't know what you mean: the "bubbles" are the floating blue lights above the chest. You see them when you approach the chest. They indicate which strikes you must have completed this week for bonus loot. Also, make sure to always have 3 Prophet Crystals of the weekly color ready Monday morning (you can exchange the minor ones for Prophet Crystals at the NPC standing next to the chest).

This method is the most optimized way to get them. It just depends on your tolerance to farm every day for months to get a full set. You're better off building up your crafting and making the stuff yourself. You will burn out in Strike missions before you get your first pieces.
