Jura.2170 Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 The picture quality menu has two things Native and Supersample Before the Lunar New Year festival, turning on Best Appearance would change our picture quality to Supersample Now it changes it to Native Why? TheQuickFox.3826 Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 These are anti-aliasing modes. Native will render the game in the resolution you set the game to. (faster) Super-sampling will render the game in a higher resolution and then downsample it to the resolution your game runs in. This eliminates jagged edges but at quite a performance penalty.
