I said before that i dont give a shit about it, i give a shit about the fact that they added an armor set as a pvp reward while its unusable in pvp. This is my point. Pvp has gotten pretty much no skins whatsoever for a good year or two. The titles and gizmos arent skins and they are only available for a portion of the player pool, and wintraders/ddosers. I might be a part of that pool but what about someone that realistically cannot obtain any of these? You dont need to be a top 250 pve player to get legendary armor. When did you last time play spvp? It takes ONE minute of waiting in the queue, then you join match. With low playerbase it would take more that 3 minutes. For every class exist counter class. It's not bad balance it's players that wants dominate over everyone in every situation using one particular class. Return to reality. You have to spend some time in spvp before you would rate it. Also, short queues indicate there are people indeed farming pvp tracks, me included, but the competitive scene is long gone. The low queue is cause everything is mixed ( soloq + duoq together, which is a joke, and stop ). SPvP is currently farm with less balance than GW2 core and HoT. Skobel.6920 Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Actually, in terms of crafting, the only things required to complete legendary armor which can be acquired ONLY by one of those modes (Raid, WvW, PvP), are Li, PvP/WvW Tickets and some currencies. But this is just few % of whole resources needed to complete this. Everything else are just mats and other, more or less regular PvE items which can be obtainedd WITHOUT raids. And these mats are biggest problem to overcome, not Li nor PvP tickets (WvW are different story; getting these tikcets is horribly time-consuming, especially when going for T3, but skin is also exclusive and fancy). EVERY RECIPE, REGARDLESS OF MODE IS IN 86% THE SAME. Raids can also be done easily, you as well can be weak player carried by rest 9 people. So yeah, raids aren't so special, neither players who do them. So I really don't think getting this armor via PvP is so easy and I really think PvP version should have better skin. Maybe Anet should make this similiar to WvW version: T2 from League tracks and T3 from Tournaments. Anyway current state is unfair for PvP players. I know that doing this by any mode can take skill OR a lot of time but in most cases it takes skill by PvE and lot of time by PvP/WvW. The thing I don't understand is this disinclination towards persistent but not skilled players. In GW1 EVERYONE was able to finish let's say DoA; either way by DvG or speed run with skilled players. You have your game specific armor. Besides anyone can get pvp/wvw armor, as it only dedication and time.
