SoupSnake.5271
Support says only one payment shows on their system I only received one email from them for the 800 gems but on my bank statement there is two charges instead of one. what should i do ? No it is not hacked or anything, it was purchased via the in game menu using mastercard. Support says they only have one payment ID Link to Screenshot of double charge [https://imgur.com/a/gcoc4](https://imgur.com/a/gcoc4 "https://imgur.com/a/gcoc4")
mercury ranique.2170
contact your bank to verify the statement is correct and it is indeed charged twice. Then go back to the Arenanet support ticket and add the banks response.
Leablo.2651
Why are the 2 amounts different? What country are you from and what does "minneto" mean? Seems unlikely that Anet is double charging you, it is something about the payment system you are using.

Seems unlikely that Anet is double charging you, it is something about the payment system you are using. was using the mastercard option in the lion market. Yes I also find it very strange that the amounts are just a tiny bit different. The weird thing though is that the comments on both the charges are connected with each other, both coming from arena net when you check. on the same day. South Africa, I am not sure what "minneto" means either. Just that I purchased 800 gems, received one email with the reference and then on my bank statement those two amounts popped up whereas it should only be one amount. Inculpatus cedo.9234
You can attach screenshots/attachments to any response you send to the CS Team's initial automated email reply. (Minneto might be short for Minnetonka...just a guess.) Good luck.
Leablo.2651
Minnetonka is where Digital River is, so that's one mystery solved. The double payment is probably an internal error on their part so that's why it did not show up in Anet's records. You may want to speak directly to DR. Illconceived Was Na.9781
It has the appearance that Digital River charged you twice, at slightly different times. In which case, the conversion rate would have changed. It's possible that DiRi figured it after they sent your receipt and without ANet learning about it (although it shouldn't work that way). The advice so far seems good: * Contact your bank. If they don't see double charges, great; you're done. * If they do, contact DR (or have your bank do so). Not mentioned: take care "disputing the claim" formally with your bank. Sometimes Digital River treats this as fraud report, which prevents you from making further transactions (it will eventually clear up; it's just a pain for you until then). (And again, it shouldn't work that way; they are just being super aggressive with potentially stolen/compromised credit cards.)
