I've been having FPS issues on gw2 doesn't happen on any other game but recently I've been able to play on my normal 80+ FPS but after an hour of playing even half an hour it'll just drop to 8 or 5 FPS which is completely unplayable which means I have to restart my game atleast 5 times a day since that fixes it for another 30 mins to an hour. But I have absolutely no clue on how to fix this I've tried so many things but nothings working. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue so I cant tell if it's a problem with the game updates or anything. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A relog remedies it for an hour or so then FPS drops back to 5. It’s made my PC crash once. Never had this problem until the most recent patch. I run the game constantly at 70+FPS, then after a few hours of playing, it drops to 20 FPS, even when looking at nothing but the ground, I have to restart the game to fix it. Antherios.4517 Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Reporting the same. My FPS drops to 7-8 fps and makes it unplayable. If I wait around 5 mins, then it fixes itself and starts working again. But it returns randomly. I disabled DPI scaling on the menu like some threads on google recommended, but it still happens. Im a returning player, so I cannot say if this is an ongoing issue but its been happening since I came back (_past Thursday_) My PC specs just in-case: **Motherboard**: Asus Z87-A **CPU**: Intel Core i5-4690K **GPU**: Nvidia GTX 970 **RAM**: G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PIMP.9806 Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 i use arcdps but never saw any fps drop . specs : gaming laptop(2016) i7 4.th gen 4720hq 8gb ddr3ram gtx950m gfx driver are not up to date btw . sometimes new drivers may cause fps drops, try older driver and test it .
