Wasn't the last ally to die Eir? And she's been basically the only major ally character to die. So how is anet just killing people off to make the story more serious? And no the player character dying in PoF doesn't count as you come back from.

No there was a certain character that was fridged in Daybreak. You met him in PoF near the casino....

I voted Taimi simply because at the moment, she has contributed the most to our new guild as far as research in countering the Elder Dragons is concerned, and she has been the most active key member in that regard. The other two names have simply not been present enough, and as much as I love Rox as a character, from a "commander" perspective, I'd have to choose what is best not just for myself, but for Tyria as a whole.

But if it was simply about choosing the characters we like to have around, I'd be quite happy with Rox, Rytlock, Canach and Taimi. Kasmeer also redeemed herself a lot in the PoF story, so I guess she can come along too if she keeps getting better.

Not a major character. So I repeat, Eir was the last one. So anet is hardly "killing off people".

I was about to vote Taimi, but then pictured several chapters of her lamenting why she was the one to live and she wasn't worth it, ignoring all evidence of being the only productive member of Dragon's Watch (Commander notwithstanding.)

Braham of course would blame the Commander for saving him because he could've just saved himself, in his eyes.

Rox I think would take it to heart, bear the burden gracefully, and push harder for the memories of her fallen allies. It would actually be a good catalyst to get Rox off the bench and in the game.

Rox is by far the most reliable member of the team. She is loyal and accepted each of Rytlocks hillarious tasks to join the warband. Some of these included stuff even he did not dare to try and were simply just "get off my nerves, I have got more important stuff to do"-tasks. She did not kill Scarlet, but contributed a great part. And she has proven her strength and guts by traveling the jungle alone and returning alive with our wounded friend. She is also never compalining about a task for real, like the other two.

But I fear, if we ever come to a situation, one of the group has to be sacrificed, it will be Rox. We have very low affection to her and the only person related in the guild is our buddy Braham. His mind is still not in the best condition and the loss of his old friend might drive him insane.

If I could re-create the guild with characters of my choice, it would be Canach, Rox , Laranthir and Kudu. ^^

I keep wanting to like them but they make it so hard. It is like someone took every trope they could think of about a lesbian couple and set it in Tyria.

Taimi on the other hand is a typical teenager combined with a standard issue asura. A helpful and likeable one in both cases at that.
