Sylvari timeline inconsistencies

According to the timeline in the novels the Firstborn were born into Tyria in 1302 A.E. but, in the game they are referred to have awoke "twenty-five years ago", Examples;

Which is the canon date is it twenty-five years or is it simply a case of rounding and they really were born in 1302 A.E?

Prob just a case of rounding. It's a fairly common thing to do

^ ANet typically rounds to fives or zeroes in their writing unless it's something that was really recent or the speaker is being really precise for some reason.

The cannon date will add on a year ever new year the game is out, sadly they don't seem to update the in game info on the dates.

As Aaron said, ArenaNet loves to round. In this case, they rounded 23 to 25.

That's just the current date. Most maps are "stuck in time" as it is, and the personal story happens in 1325.
