Regarding black lion keys and personal story. Quick question.

I know there is a weekly cap to earning them from the level 10 chapter of this. But do the keys from the level 40 and 60 chapters have the same "Once a week" cap? I just have several characters approaching 40, and one nearing 60 so I thought i'd get these keys since i'm close to them and what not.

No, the cap is only on the lv10 instance,

because that one was farmed.

The other ones have no cap.

 

To be specific:

The 40 key is given after DE meets in lions arch and has another failing out.

The 60 key is given when you lose the lions arch fort to the risen. Reclaiming it has the same name, but the instance in which you lose it, is the one that's rewarded.

Minor correction: The story instance where you lose the fort is called The Battle for Claw Island, the one where you get it back is called Retribution. I think a lot of people (myself included) get them confused because the 'Battle' instance isn't much of a battle, whereas Retribution is.

 

Also there used to be a bug where sometimes if you got the key from the level 40 or 60 story you then couldn't get one from the level 10 story that week. I'm not sure if they fixed it, but just in case if you've got a character going through the level 10 story as well it's best to do that one first.
