List fixes Necro did not get

Their goal was not to fix anything for necromancer. In no way shape or place did the they say they were even attempting to fix any issue with necromancer. Realistically they made necro overall worse. Though it still works its just a bit lower on the list now.

 

But to answer you question core fixes, core utility tools updated with QoL adjustments. For example

Spectral walk and spectral armor

Both are break stunts but provide no defensive tools such as instant movement, stability, or blocks. So any kind of double stun or stun combo renders them completely useless.

Now lets look at the new scourge breakstun.

It converts boons to conditions, provides a movement speed increase and grants one stack of stability for the duration of the skills effect in addition to breaking stun.

 

Wells are lacking in power and updates

Well of darkness. Has virtually zero use. Its slow pulsing only blinds, has a very long cooldown, its feature is built into reaper greatsword 4 along with a boon convert.

 

Core shroud could use some speed upgrades for example

Life blast is very slow. The trait that effects this skill simply applies 2 stack of vuln which necros do easily via several other methods.

 

There are too many traits that only trigger when a foe is below 50% hp rather than something like 66% then a drastic boost at 33% or simply add another fuction that makes the trait semi usable in addition to its 50% foe hp requirement.

Too many traits are locked behind the efforts of improving the profession mechanic but fail to do so because the traits are too weak and dont appear to make the profession mechanic as boosted as it should be for pouring a whole traitline into it.

 

The list goes on and on but yeah.

Ok...

Core:

- teach golem how to swim

- speed up _life blast_

- improve _dark path_

- reduce _life transfert_ cool down

- _soul comprehension_

- remove _lich form_

- give a barrier to _unholy sanctuary_ instead of pushing the necromancer into shroud and remove life force treshold

- switch minion and master siphon value on the _vampiric_ trait.

- _Epidemic_ rework (actual skill being so strong that it restrain the necromancer more than anything)

- improve dagger auto-attack speed, reduce _dark pact_ cast time to 1/2s

- reduce focus's _spinal shiver_ cast time to 1/2s, totally rework _reaper's touch_

 

Reaper:

Nope, change I want here are to excessives to be listed here.

 

Scourge:

- Make it a proper support spec... :lol:

Pretty much agree here. As for scourge I was thinking it would be cool if they balanced it more like the Disc. Priests in WoW were when i was playing around Lich King. Moderate dps, but and actually effective barrier(bubble) type of situation.

Its good that they are fixing something on necro so fast but on the other side it took 2 months for abrasive grit and the obstructed is still there...

 

Im still trying to understand if Trail of Anguish is working as intended or not cos is the only skill that put and aoe that dont buff the user. True that is say buff allies but tons of other skill say the same but they also buff/heal the user (WoB if we wanna stay on core necro or even F2-3 on scourge)

When it comes to nerf the necro cause of a bug they are always fast. But things like abrasife grit dont need to get fixed. That would actually be a buff

Allies can get it 3 times running behind you while you get the buff only when you use the skill but not when you run on your own trail. Fast test is when you run a doly in wvw. This skill should pulse on caster and work like now on allies or at least give the buff also on the necro when he run on his own trail. Its like if staff 3 on guard will only work on him on cast and not on every single pulse
