nicknamenick.2437 Posted February 8, 2018 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Autoattacking dmg is the same on these weapons? when testing on golem with some buffs (not the full raid stuff but i do have full might and vuln on golem): GS AA: around 9600dps Axe AA: around 10200dps I think its because GS has a slow aftercast.. If you give the weapon strong AA, great mobility, cleave, and damage then every single weapon pales by comparison. Things are already bad enough with virtually every meta build using GS, you see nothing but GS everywhere, it sucks and its getting old. sneakytails.5629 Posted February 8, 2018 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Sorry but the mobility, reasonable damage, and cleave of GS has made it meta from Core Warrior, Beserker, and finally to Spellbreaker over a period of years. Other weapons have came and gone but GS has remained and will remain meta for Power Warriors. I am not even sure how that can even be disputed. The AA was buffed on 2nd and 3rd hit, in pvp and wvw who’s gonna got hit by the slow gs AA anyway? O we have 100b buffed... well thats pve too. Well its worth talking about that is better now.. nothing more. And yes AA attacking issnt usefull in most situations.. even in pve there are better ways to do more dmg in sborter time.. esp for warrior.. AA is more used between all your burst skills and to gain some extra adrenaline or just to remove your blind or aegis.. Thats where we use AA for on warriors.
