Ashantara.8731
Every game managed to center its launcher window on your desktop, only ANet's POF launcher keeps it set towards the bottom left corner. Adjusting manually doesn't help, because it's not being saved. Yes, this seems trifle, but it's really bugging me.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Maybe it has something to do with screen size or resolution, as my launcher doesn't do that. Good luck.
usnedward.9023
Yeah mine is centered too. Try re-positioning launcher to middle, close then re-open. If above suggestion doesn't work.
costepj.5120
Mine always comes up centred on my right hand screen.
Danikat.8537
I can't say I've ever paid much attention, but I'm pretty sure mine comes up in the center too. What happens if you drag it to the center then close it and re-open? Or drag it to the center, log in and then re-open it? Maybe that would save the position? mercury ranique.2170
The launcher has a built-in OCD detector and does it pure with the purpose of annoying you. But to trick it, please change your resolution, if possible to higher one. I could reproduce it when using a lower resolution then usual. But at my regular (max) resolution it always centers
Game of Bones.8975
Have you pissed off any Asuras lately or left a Charr alone with your game lately?
Menadena.7482
Actually, I would rather windows stay where I last used them rather than go to some arbitrary point on the screen.

ReaverKane.7598
1) Pretty sure that's actually a OS thing that controls where the launcher pops-in. 2) It is centered? 3) Maybe you don't realize the actual dimensions of the launcher because a chunk of it is transparent? If you count the margin in that has graphics standing out of the actual rectangle window and lots of transparency, then yes, it is centered. But the same (transparent) margin size must be added to all opposite sides for the rectangle window to be centered. Bad programming IMO, and uneasy on the eye. If you could drag the window and its new position would be saved, it wouldn't be much of an issue. But _this_ isn't pretty. > 3) Maybe you don't realize the actual dimensions of the launcher because a chunk of it is transparent? See previous paragraph. The fact remains, IT IS CENTRED!
Zaklex.6308
Mine has always been centered, even the PoF version, must be your screen resolution has others have said.

Lol, now A-net is guilty of "Bad programming" because the launcher does not center on your particular screen? Seems a rather trivial thing to complain about, especially considering it seems to only affect you.
Cobrakon.3108
have you tried checking the box "Disable High DPI Scaling" for the launcher.... Right click select properties and check that box.
GreyWolf.8670
This has bugged me since the PoF pre-patch when they changed the launcher graphics. The entire login window technically is centered if you take the transparent overdraw area into account but it doesn't _look_ centered and the initial rectangular definitely isn't centered because it's in the same position the login window appears at. Try using a grid desktop background and it's much easier to see. These are definitely not centered. Count the grid lines above and below. https://imgur.com/a/493fK
MikeL.8260
My launcher always moves to the right when a new launcher update is live but once i centre it manually it stays there.
