Please introduce a lucid way to acquire PoF stats!

This is still chaotic as hell (armor, weapons, trinkets) and I have not bothered to go through the lengths. I would like to have it revised to match previous content.

heart vendors sell the PoF stats for trinkets.

recipes give the POF stats for weapons and armor.

 

just like HoT and CORE

 

the only difference is that HOT LS trinkets where stat choosable

Trinket-wise, the amulets is obtainable as chapter rewards as well as purchasable item from Heart Vendors costing Trade Contracts, Elegy Mosaics, Laurels and Pulsing Brandsparks (dependent on the stats you want).

 

My other advice would be to invest in some Mist Talisman/Band/Pendents since its very cheap to change the stats using a mist capacitor. The Capacitor is purchased for 250 shards of glory, which can be bought on TP for under 1g per stack. This means that once you have the Mist trinkets, it would cost approx 1.25g (24s to extract infusions + ~1g for 1 stack of shards of glory) to change to any stat combination available in game.

No, thank you. I stopped playing PvP a while ago and do not want to be forced to play outside of PvE for those items. That's why I called it "chaotic". You can't look up the stat combo by name at Wiki but have to know which is what (the inscriptions/insignia do not carry the name of the stat combo), you are forced to acquire tons of different currencies, participate in several events, it's just too much. It simply isn't lucid like in previous content.

You can purchase the trinkets using _Pristine fractal relics_ and pick any stats you want. To change stats you need either _Memories of Battle_ or the much cheaper _Shards of Glory_ both of which can be found on TP. There is no need to participate in PvP to be able to obtain any of these items.

I disagree that it's too chaotic. The systems introduced simply give more options to obtain the items. If you wanted to, you are able to simply grind POF maps until you have 8.5k trade contracts and 105 Pulsing Brandsparks to buy 4 trinkets or mix and match from other sources.

When were those introduced? :o Certainly not at PoF's release of PoF... (?)

Okay, then I would have to play Fractals, which I find boring. I cannot obtain those by playing the actual PoF content. Thanks for the info, though. :)

It is, because orientation is difficult (especially regarding the missing "Grieving" name in inscriptions and insigniae). **Edit:** Okay, I can see that there have been changes since I last checked: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Intact_Mosaic --> "The Twins' Grieving Inscription", "The Twins' Grieving Insignia." Guess I will have to start doing those events now. =)

The cost of the PoF trinkets from Heart Vendors is way, way out of line with the cost of Ascended trinkets from other sources so I'm hoping that they start to offer trinkets with selectable stats for map currency in the next few episodes of LS4 the same way as they did in LS3. Otherwise I might spend some WvW tickets to get a set and forget about it.

The Mosaics, yes. The final inscription/insignia is a different story. For now, I am crafting different stats, then changing them in the Mystic Forge.

Ascended rings and accessories in chapter 2's zone are for sale in line with what Season 3 had for prices. I assume they will have POF stats in the selector.

Nope, not as long as vendors are locked behind redoing hearts!!!! Redoing hearts are fine for those that care to do them, but forcing people to redo them to use a vendor is just extremely BAD game design and should never have been allowed by the lead.
