If I dont have weapons equiped, what happen ?

Huh. This actually bears testing - if the wiki is correct, the dopelganger would be an easy fight if you deselected your traits, utilities, armour and weapons.

Except good luck getting everyone in the map to do that -- as far as I can tell the person doppelgangered is a random person in the map, perhaps one who's not in designated "safe" areas (eg I don't think the Doppelganger will spawn inside the skimmer ranch). I've seen it hop from person to person, too, possibly when it's not engaged fast enough, or maybe when it's killed its person.

 

Without templates people can't rapidly get dressed again for the fight or reselect traits and utilities, so I doubt an entire map full of folks will be willing to do this experiment.
