Clothing into Outfits: please fix color channels

Recommended Posts

I _just_ noticed the second tab on the Black Lion Exchange Specialist. Yay! <3 :)

However, there are two things that could be improved:

* The original outfit has four dye channels, but when you apply dye yourself, two channels are merged into one. :(

* A small wish: Could you please fix the clown shoes? ;) The tips always looked weird that way.

It was easy to miss, being only 2 sentences in the [game update note](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/20444/game-release-notes-december-12-2017#latest) back in December.

>An outfit version of all 14 of the endless tonics for town clothing has been added to the game for convenience. Each tonic may be exchanged for a matching wardrobe unlock at the Black Lion Trading Post in Lion's Arch.

I was busy with holiday preparations at the time. ;)

Anyway, the color channels need to be fixed (see my edit of the OP).

I do see the edit. The "clown shoes" are the riding boots. Which they likely stuck in the outfits, along with the jodhpurs, because they were race neutral. I really wish they'd used the Fancy Winter boots instead >< Along with cultural pants, maybe, at least for human males the hoodie plus trousers plus winter boots made a super casual and comfy look that my scruffy guardian neeeeds.

Yes, I don't know what it is with ANet and those boots. Quite a few outfits have them, and this one element is the one sore spot in those.

But the color channel thing is worse. Some of those new tonic-into-outfits have the accurate four channels, but some don't. For instance, the **Ornate Clothing Outfit** has **four visible channels**, with shirt and pants being two different colors (one purple, the other black). Yet, when you try to dye the shirt, it automatically dyes the pants along with it - that is just wrong.
