# Inconsistent signet skill icons

**Professions:** Warrior, Guardian and Necromancer.

A handful of icons have wrong or unfinished backgrounds around the signet symbol.

I made some schemes to illustrate these for you and to show ways to correct the imperfect skill icons.

Back Item shrinking and vanishing for Norn character while mounted on Griffon.

Item: Any back item.

Race: Male Norn.

Issue: Any back item equipped by my male Norn character will shrink and vanish if I turn right while grounded and mounted on the griffon. This however does not happen if I am walking in slow speed or flying on the griffon and it doesn't seem to affect other races as I have tried this on my other human characters. It only seems to affect male Norns and charrs (from what I have heard from other players).

Hello, the Elonian heavy chest and Elonian greatsword there is clipping on Char. ![](https://i.imgur.com/mi5W5XB.jpg "")

from the side: ![](https://i.imgur.com/gx1pg7M.png "")

This happens only on chestpieces that came in Path of Fire.

Here is another greatsword on the same chest piece: ![](https://i.imgur.com/agbWVMI.png "")

here is same weapon with an older, core game chest piece ![](https://i.imgur.com/ju67xeE.png "")

Gap on character body between armor pieces (chest & pants).

The top half and lower half of the character are separated, especially visible while in a combat pose. This happens with the Apprentice Pants as well as many other light armor pants models where the skin around the character's midriff is exposed.

Item: Foefire Wraps.

Race: All of them.

Gender: All of them.

Class: All of them.

Description: Wearing any sleeved chestpiece, which are abundant amongst light- and medium armour classes, causes the particle effect, as well as the rune colour, of the wraps to default to either the colour of the chest-piece in question, the hair colour of ones character or, as in the case of the Ornate Guild Vestments, to refuse to change colour at all and remain red - no matter what.

This strikes me as HIGHLY unprofessional, especially considering that it is a Gem Store item and that it costs more than the average. In fact, I will go so far as to call it an outrage and I would very much like for this visual bug to be dealt with as promptly as possible. Visual bugs with certain armours are acceptable, if annoying and frustrating, but visual bugs for Gem Store items border on fraud - and I, for one, do not appreciate it.

Item: Perfected Envoy Gloves

Race: Human

Gender: Female

Class: Necromancer

The light legendary Perfected Envoy Gloves will not stove the spikes when out of combat. The anmiation of the stow effect, doesn't complete all the way.

The animation will only complete 100% when wearing the perfected Perfected Envoy Shoes or Perfected Envoy Vestments.

This means, only when i wear one of the two other armor parts, it will stow the spikes.

Item: Spearmarshal's Tassets

Hi, can the dye channels on the upgraded elonian heavy armor be updated to reflect the simpler armors channels? The upgraded channels make no sense and allow for less customization... it feels like the effort I put into getting the upgraded armor was wasted. Please fix the dye channels so the little embellished dots and the cloth match the rest of the armor like in the original set

Item: War God's Focus

Races: All (Norn for wielded)

The physics on this item is very awesome in combat, except when you walk or run. It looks like the weighting is really strange while you do those two movements, as follows:

https://imgur.com/a/JutYn

As you may be able to tell, it behaves as if the flail is completely weightless, which causes some clipping while you run with it wielded (Norn specific), and really strange while you walk/run. It's a shame because as soon as you just use it for combat it looks terrific.

Item: Funerary Leggings (Medium Armor)

Character: Charr Female

Class: Holosmith

Description:

When wearing Funerary Leggings on any female charr, one part of the tail fur vertex seems to sticking to the ground , creating a spike like in the picture.

![](https://i.imgur.com/MzqJUzT.jpg "")

This seems to happen on every female charr characters after I tried with all of my female charrs in the wardrobe. The issue persist whether the characters are equipped or fully naked (with only the leggings on).

Don't think it's an inherent art issue, but this is related to character visual bugs, etc.

Race: All.

Class: All.

Problem: Endless Tonics which are combat friendly (i.e. Endless Embiggening, Miniature, Watchknight, Kodan) do not work with mounts. I cannot see this being intentional, as it makes what were suppose to be tonics that function in all aspects of the game not player vs player oriented very much not functional with what is now a stable part of gameplay. You have to halt movement, turn off the tonic to mount, then once dismounted if you want it back stop to reenable it. It makes the tonic seem clunky and pointless, which is sad because I like using the embiggening tonic on a specific toon for character canon purposes. To have to halt gameplay to turn it off every time I want to use my mount is very, very inconvenient, and makes all of these tonics feel more like hassles now.

Also maybe extend the timer? 15 minutes of active game play is nothing. The non-combat friendly tonics are one thing. But for combat tonics to only last 15 minutes is a serious inconvenience.

Race: Sylvari (Male Only)

Class: All

Item: Exo-Suit Outfit (as well as many neck areas of armor/outfits in general).

Problem: The Sylvari male neck often push through clothing and armor. It's rarely noticeable until you wear something with a full neck cover. And the larger your body type, the more it clips. Even the tiniest bodies push through the neck at least a little. Hard to get a clear picture, but even with the helm, it's obviously not just a show helm issue. It's nothing crazy overt on it's own, but in things like cinematic events, especially dialogue oriented, it becomes glaringly noticeable.

Race: Charr

Gender: Both

Class: Any Heavy (this could also apply to other armor classes)

Numerous heavy shoulders for charr are "crushed" inward at the back. The most egregious example is the T3 charr cultural shoulders on the character's right side. This does appear to be affected by character proportions somewhat, and appears to be more obvious on female charr than male charr.

I can't guarantee this is a completely exhaustive list, and it certainly doesn't include a pass through the other armor classes. However it's clear this affects even new armors, as indicated by the Houndskin Mantle.

Here's an enlarged side by side comparison for the Dreadnought shoulders:

Race: Sylvari

Sex: Female

Class: Warrior

When dying the lunatic armor, the coloring showed up at first, but upon logging in the next day, its just the default colors. I have tried several color combinations, unequipping/equipping the armor, clearing cache to no avail.

Am I the only one having this issue?

World: https://imgur.com/Nk8JVEt

Update:

I originally dyed the armor in the Mad King's Clocktower instance. The colors show up there.

Also, I tried erasing the colors and then reapplying: no luck with that.

Update 2:

Others can see the dyed armor, but I cannot. Maybe an issue with the local client?

Update 3: After eating the meat for the hero point Veruta Beefhawker, I could temporarily see the properly dyed armor. Within a few seconds, it went back to the full green color.

Update 4:

When close to an object and the camera zooms in close, the default orange/black colors can be seen.

So a final update to this: I found the cause to the coloring issue! It's due to the amulet I was wearing: Oontz's Necklace of the Ghoul. It add's a greenish ghastly appearance...however, even after removing the amulet, I still appear all green. Removing all your armor and then re-equipping it (sans amulet) lets me see my dye colors.

Hope this helps someone!
