Was standing next to him checking things in my bags and what not and the dialogue started and I could talk to him. It did not involve going up the stairs. Did a lot of server hopping to find it. Disappointing part was could not select Grieving on Scourge Torch, you can Vipers so I guess it is for the best. I did fail the event (Unintentionally) and about 10 minutes later I got the Funeral Procession event dialogue to start so you could play around with that to see if that might be a trigger. No one actually new what is triggering the quest (waiting for Attendant to interact with, was most people knew). We tried to kill Judge event and other events in Necropolis.... no luck. At the end I done it when good guy joined my LFG group when on other map event started - so I am done. But still have no idea what triggers this event. Locce.8405 Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Considering that I have done the required events for most of the other specialisation collections by accident just during map exploration this super-rare hidden event seems to be a bad, cruel joke. Today I even got there in time, but then roughly a dozen forged spawns and swarms the casket, destroying it. They almost completely ignored me and I could not kill them in time, because there was nobody on the map who wanted to help. Thanks, Anet. It most certainly is not. I'm starting to suspect that it indeed triggers somewhere beyond necropolis, with fucking attendant serving only as notification. My first attempt was fail, my second, my hubby started it while I was out roughly where the spawn was. Luckily a lot of people joined in and we completed it. Well for me it was north-west of the vehtendi arena (also the entrance) but there are more starting locations apperently. However, Recieving kittentendant is EXTREMELY late with his announcement, giving it about time casket runs into first group of enemies and, well, dies. In my case, after talking to the received attendant npc, the escort event started here  Fortunately I manage to get there before the cascet's HP reach 0%, and some people came by healing the cascet HP up to 20-30% (yes, you can heal the cascet) My suggestion is to have one person start the event by talking to the receiving attendant, and other person standby at the escort starting point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can't just advertise a group or raid and then start it when you are ready. I've done more than half the other ones so far, and they are pretty straight forward. Yeah, it's annoying. I just kept checking in there every so often, and one day I could talk to him. I guess if it spawns in the wrong place it's impossible to solo due to adds, but I got lucky, 3 or 4 non necros joined in just for an event. I've bugged it. On wiki > NOTICE: This event is Bugged and will not begin 5 minutes before dawn or dusk, or will not allow a player to trigger to begin event within the dawn or dusk time frame.
