TheGrimm.5624 Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 The portal scroll book was a nice addition to the game and a good example of a QoL item that required the player to work towards an item but then granted quicker access to areas for their alts. To me there would be value to continue that trend with the new zones. It creates a demand for those currencies and allows players to work toward new collections. This setup would also lend itself to future achievements and give player even more reasons to visit zones. If possible it would also be nice to back work older zones to create portal scrolls for those zones with unique currencies as well like Silverwastes and Drytop. Being able to link in Gem Store items like the Royal Terrace Pass, Airship Captain Pass and such would also be an added benefit above that. Appreciate the read. Every zone could have their own necessary tasks/quests/currencies to obtain the portal for that zone. Doing this would also draw people, at least for a time, into older zones. The home portal device is for sell in the gemstore too. If they create too many scrolls for all areas, the asurans will get mad the WP fees are going down.... Gem store focuses on convenience items and the in game items should be something for the players to earn via game play. The convenience items should never be the only way to access something.
