Dante.1763
It would be neat but id be concerned with how much wed be charged to do this if it got implemented, if it was no more than say a mini would cost i wouldnt have any issues, on top of that it would need to be either disabled or have the option to be in PVP. kurfu.5623
No. Collecting pets in the game is part of the journey, I would hate to see that experience cheapened by putting new pets behind a paywall.
Dami.5046
I'm a ranger main and collecting the pets are part of it - I wouldn't want them all looking the same. In fact there are quite a few both land and water, so I'm guessing people would want skins for them all. If i wanted anything it would be more pets. I kinda wouldn't mind a baby dragon or a scarab. But not a skin.
Dreamy Lu.3865
I voted other: Before to start with skins for pet, what would be quite an effort for implementation, can we not have the option to dye pets? That would be a good start and probably an easier change to implement. :)
Taelac.7036
No, I'd rather the resources be spent on content all my characters can use. The idea overall makes me twitch, since it takes a step toward putting actual pets in the gem store, and the fundamental profession mechanic should not have elements stuck behind a paywall. Ardid.7203
Rangers should have more customization options for their Pets. Engineers should have more customization options for their Kits.
DeanBB.4268
I really couldn't say "yes" unless I saw what they were offering. Turn my pet into a pug or chihuahua? I'm in!
Turkeyspit.3965
Its a neat idea, but it would run somewhat counter intuitive for SB players who run around with no pets.
Mea.5491
Yes I would same with ENGINEER KITS!!! I want my kits to match my Fashion Wars. :(
Lunateric.3708
Think the company is missing an opportunity on monetizing things like different shroud effects, holoforge, pets, necro minions, etc. The counterargument that different models will "confuse" people (easily fixable making WvW and PvP default to standard skins) is pretty weak. DotA2 does this to a much deeper extent and it's amazing for the most part.
starhunter.6015
Skins no, but armor/harnesses for pets could work for me.
Nuka Cola.8520
I would enjoy this greatly, but every skin must cost $10 or more. If its cheaper, i feel like the skin is cheap and not worth buying.
videoboy.4162
It seems like it would be an easy way for Anet to bring in some more cash. Especially since there are so many animals, already in the game, that we can't tame. They could just use a lot of those skins that they've already got made, then add more later. Serephen.3420
The only issue I see with it is the scope is severely limited to one profession. Say in GW1 it may have worked as everyone could have a pet so long as they picked up ranger as a secondary class. Perhaps though something along the lines of this could still work such as class specific skins or idles that could be added. I think that would be quite interesting and ranger pets could be included in that scope.
