Event spawning ?

Whats the deal with all the event spawns? I just started the path of fire content and i had a quest to take out some cannons in a fort. That is hard enough but 3 events spawned right in the quest area and i got slaughtered. No other players were around at all.

Dynamic events spawn mostly at random, though some are on fixed timers. Some trigger when the previous event succeeds or fails, some when it finishes.

 

Player presence has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Hmm the raiding party event should spawn a bit away from the cannons or under. There is also a nearby spawn point for bounties but that is also a decent distance away and only spawn if someone picked up the bounty and approach. What events did you run into?

One event was the Boss creature that spawned and i guess attacked the fort. I had all kinds of mobs on me at once. Every new area i discover a new event pops up a half minute later.
