Conections error detected....

Everyday with GW 2 is either lag, conection error, crashes, good thing this isnt pay 2 win i guess but ok, anyway i am having the message when i start the gw 2 client Conection error(s) detected... Retrying, that's it, nothing else no code error messages nothing, i mean i went out to grocery shoping and i stoped playing i come back 2 hours later the game is like this any1 having the same issue any1 can help to solve it please... thx...

i went and researched the internet for people having the same thing, and i see some people actually quited the game because they never found a fix for it, i am no expert in well informatics i guess, i do not have the knowledge to deal wit hthis problem so if anyone had the same issue could they describe or tell if they found a solution, if not well guess i best go look for another mmorpg ._.!

That message on the launcher means it's failing to connect to the patch server. You can quickly test your connection by visiting this page, which should display a single line of numbers.

 

Your DNS could be outdated, so clear the cache using a command prompt (cmd.exe):

ipconfig /flushdns

(alternatively set up Google's DNS)

 

You can manually try a different patch server by using the -assetsrv option with GW2:

-assetsrv 52.22.215.41

(this IP changes regularly; to look it up, use cmd.exe > nslookup origincdn.101.arenanetworks.com 8.8.8.8)

 

It could also be caused by other software interfering with GW2. Use msconfig to disable all non-Microsoft services and all startup programs, then open cmd.exe as an administrator and enter the following commands, then reboot:

netsh int ip reset

netsh winsock reset

Issues here in Argentina as well, ping goes to 4000 in a blink and the game is unplayable, I'm not having issues with any other games or connections :L
