Shared Anguish Broken, Does Nothing at All

As the title. I thought I was missing the effect in the heat of combat, so I actively tested it. With Shared Anguish equipped I went out fighting Risen Brutes, stepping on Dredge Mines, etc., while paying attention.

 

And even allowing for the idiotically long cool-down the supposed effect never, ever triggers. Have I misunderstood something basic or is it just broken?

Well the most basic thing would be making sure you aren't testing this with a merged soulbeast ...

Basic Ranger. And I distinctly remember that it used to work, with the Pet collapsing with a little squawk or whatever, but now nothing.

@"Thorny Dave.9458" some CCs from pve dont affect this trait. if you really wanted to see if this trait is bugged id suggest you test it in pvp with a friend to CC you

Checked it in a PvP custom arena. It works fine.

 

Checking in PvE with a Risen Bull and a Veteran Giant Beetle. Both worked.
