Xarsha.6895
I just purchased an Alienware r5 17 laptop to replace my r4, and I'm finding that the AlienFX in-game toggle no longer does anything, and neither do my macro keys, which I have set as a replacement single-action keybind for certain skills for a more comfortable position. On the old laptop, all of these worked perfectly fine. I might imagine it has something to do with this using a new version of the Alienware Command Center, except that the macro keys function as intended within other games, as well as for app launch shortcuts. Any thoughts before I try ticketing either company and/or reinstalling ACC?
Illconceived Was Na.9781
you probably have to 'teach' the new software to recognize GW2 Some 'command' software doesn't properly recognize GW2, because, unlike most Windows software, it doesn't make changes to the registry or necessarily install in /program files. It might be as simple as opening up your ACC and pointing it to GW2.
Xarsha.6895
Hmmmmm. It didn't automatically detect GW2 when adding games to the library, but I manually added it and that didn't seem to make any difference. I'll see if there's anything I might have overlooked though. Steve The Cynic.3217
Watch out for the difference between GW2.EXE and GW2-64.EXE. Teach it both of them.
Xarsha.6895
No luck, sadly. Nothing I can find or think of to do has made any difference at all.
